Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

mannu madhurai … – Just as a forest where elephants will be born again and again, SrI mathurA is having eternal connection with bhagavAn as in SrI vAmanAvathAram, it was known as sidhdhASramam where he performed thapasya, in SrI rAmAvathAram, SathrughnAzhwAn eliminated the evil enemies from there and ruled over and in krishNAvathAram, krishNa himself joyfully appeared.

vasudhEvar … – krishNa is the cause for SrI vasudhEvar’s existence. He constantly sees krishNa and holds onto his existence.

nal naRaiyUr … – The one who is complete in auspicious qualities and who is present in thirunaRaiyUr which is having more goodness than SrI mathurA [due to divine, eternal presence in archA form].

vambavizh thAr … – thirumangai AzhwAr who is wearing fresh garland which is supported by the shoulders which are said to be rock, mercifully composed this garland in the form of ten thamizh pAsurams, with tune. Those who are able to master it, will become worshippable dheyvam for nithyasUris who are present in paramapadham. They are also said to be, as in thiruvAimozhi 10.9.9vaigundhan thamar emar” (these SrIvaishNavas, who have attained SrIvaikuNtanAtha); they will become refuge for the nithyasUris.

In the next article we will enjoy the next pAsuram.
