Simple translation

In the past, bhagavAn churned the ocean which is having three types of water viz river water, ground water and rain water. During the deluge, he assumed the form of a fish and placed that ocean in his stomach. He is eternally residing in the beautiful thiruvAli as the supreme lord who is with SrI mahAlakshmi and is also my lord. I got to see him in thirunaRaiyUr which is surrounded by fertile fields which are having water which is having the goodness of being abundant

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

munnIr … – One who churned the ocean which has three types of water, in krutha yugam. When the dhEvathAs were tormented by asuras, to help the dhEvathAs, he churned the ocean.

mUzhththa nAL … – When the world was consumed by deluge.

annIrai … – That same water (which was kept as protection for the world) spread everywhere, just like the guards of a town themselves stealing; at that time, bhagavAn appeared as a fish and held the world in a small portion of his fin. To churn the ocean, he had to gather the dhEvathAs and asuras and still stood there showing his supremacy; but while saving the world from the deluge, he had no such support and had to do it on his own. While accomplishing a task, he is capable of both working with many others and doing it on his own. Such lord. These acts are those of the supreme lord.

thiruvAli … – One who is mercifully present in thiruvAli along with SrI mahAlakshmi, to eliminate my deluge of this samsAram, just as he churned the ocean to help dhEvathAs and protected the world from deluge. Alternative explanation – sarvESvaran who fulfils the desire of everyone such as dhEvathAs, worldly people and myself, without any difference. One who has the prApthi (relationship) with everyone.

nal nIr … – thirunaRaiyUr which is surrounded by fertile fields having not bad water, but good water which is in abundance.
