Simple Translation

You [referring to krishNa] had consumed butter, which had been accumulated by churning curd, three times a day, along with curd. You had tilted vessels containing milk, carried on their shoulders, through poles, by herd-people, by tilting the vessels. When you do not get to consume my [yaSOdhAp pirAtti, referring to herself] bosom milk, secreted in my body, you sob and cry like children who have been denied it. Oh, my lord! I know today that you are the difficult-to-attain lord. I am afraid to give you [my bosom] milk.

vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)

muppOdhum … – In thiruvAyppAdi [SrI gOkulam], the activities of milking [the cows], setting [curd] and churning [to get butter] would be continuous. krishNa would consume the butter which had accumulated during churning, in the morning, noon and evening times, along with the thick curd  which had got set during those times.

kappAl … – he would also consume milk, brought by herd-men on their shoulders with the help of poles, with milk contained in vessels hung from the ends of the poles, by tilting the vessels.

thiruvAimozhip piLLai says, in his svApadhESam, that the fact that herd-men brought it on their shoulders with the help of poles makes it evident that it is milk which they had brought [though the pAsuram does not explicitly mention that it is milk].

meyppAl … – you would also consume the bosom milk, secreted in my body, as your sustaining material. If that milk is not available, you would cry, sobbing, just like children who have not had milk.

appA unnai aRindhu koNdEn – Oh, the eminent one who has these activities which are beyond human levels of capabilities! I have come to know that “You do not belong to the species of human beings”

thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that earlier [in the first pAsuram], AzhwAr had said annE [which is the same as ammE, mother]. Here, he calls krishNa as appA [father]. Thus, it is clear that emperumAn is AzhwAr’s mother as well as father. Earlier [in the first pAsuram], he had spoken about poyppAl [the false milk (poisoned milk)] from the fiend. AzhwAr remembers that and speaks about meyppAl [milk secreted by the body] here.

unakku … – Hence, I will be scared to give you [my bosom] milk.

We shall next consider the 6th pAsuram of this thirumozhi.
