Oh, my lord! Oh, one who is the controller for the seven higher worlds, from the beginning! Oh, lord who is mercifully residing in the western side of thiruvazhundhUr! Fearing my senses which have entered me to make me enjoy worldly pleasures only, which are intolerable even if I tried to tolerate them, I surrendered unto you.

kaRuththuk kanjanai … – kamsan had evil intentions towards krishNa, who thinks about uplifting everyone; krishNa showed anger on him to make his intentions occur to him; you showed your anger to cause fear in him.
kAr vaNNA – For those who see you, you have a rejuvenating form.
kadal pOl oLi vaNNA – Like an ocean, being the protector for all the entities, having a complexion which matches its.
iRuththittAn vidaiy Ezhum mun venRAy – You won over the seven bulls which were like death personified due to being possessed by monsters, by snapping their horns.
endhAy – You enslaved me by showing such act.
andharam Ezhum mun AnAy – Oh, one who owns the seven higher worlds!
poRuththuk koNdirundhAl … – The five senses force me to enjoy the pleasures causing unbearable pain even if I considered to bear the torment caused by them. Fearing these senses, I surrendered unto your divine feet.
