thiruvAimozhip piLLai says, in his svApadhESam, that krishNa should take tender steps with the bells on the waist cord making a sound.

Simple Translation
When a lotus flower just blossoms, the honey present inside the flower will drip a little bit at a time. Similar to that, the divine nectar is breaking and dripping from krishNa’s divine lips which are expansive and reddish. With the bell tied to his divine waist making a noise “kaNa kaNa”, similar to the noise made by a bell tied to the neck of a cruel bull, will not krishNa take tender steps?
vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)
padar … – a lotus flower, which has spread, unlike a bud [where its mouth is closed], is just blossoming. From inside its mouth, which is cool, honey is dripping.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that the lotus, due to the quality of the mud in which it is growing, is spreading well. pani – coolness.
idam koNda … – nectar from the divine mouth, which is expansive and reddish, is permanently secreting. As it secretes, a few drops break and fall down.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that idam koNda refers to the expansive mouth within which yaSOdhAp pirAtti had earlier seen seven worlds. emperumAn is referred to as “ulagam uNda peru vAyan” (one who has a huge mouth with which he had swallowed all the worlds) by nammAzhwAr in his thiruvAimozhi 6-10-1.
kadum sEkkazhuththu … – just like the sound made by a bell tied to the neck of a cruel bull, the bell tied to the divine waist of krishNa should make a sound “kaNa kaNa”.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that the sound kaNa kaNa refers to making a noise such as kaNAr kaNAr.
thadam thAL … – will not krishNa, who has stout, divine feet which match each other [in their eminence etc] and who has the divine bow SrI SArngam on his divine hand, take a few tender steps?
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that krishNa should walk with his beautiful divine feet, planting them firmly on the ground.
