Simple Translation
The divine rings are shining on the divine toes which are on the divine feet, appearing like the inner petals of a reddish lotus flower; divine anklets, divine golden waist, golden spheres strung in-between mAdhaLam flowers, rings on the divine fingers, bracelet made of small corals on the divine wrist, figurines of the five divine weapons on a chain, rings on the divine shoulders, ornaments on the divine ears, divine ear rings, chutti on the divine forehead, are fitting well and shining. Oh, one who is the king of our clan! You should perform sengIrai! Oh, one who is the head of all the worlds! You should dance; you should dance.
vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)
sengamalam … – on the divine feet which are like reddish lotus, the divine toes are like the inner petals of that lotus flower. On these toes, rings, which are shining well, have been adorned, fitting so well with the toes that it would appear that the rings were there on the toes from birth itself. On the divine waist, kiNkiNi [divine waist chain] is adorned; alternatively, kiNkiNi would refer to the anklet on the divine ankles, to go with the toe rings. This is the sEvadik kiNkiNi seen in the second padhigam.
araiyil thangiya pon vadamum – the golden cord which is always adorned on the divine waist.
thALa nan mAdhaLaiyin pUvodu pon maNiyum – just as it has been mentioned in periyAzhwAr thirumozhi 1-3-2 “udaiyAr kaNamaNiyOdu oNmAdhaLam pU” (along with the golden waist cord, the cord with mAdhaLam pU), the eminent mAdhaLam cord with golden spheres strung in-between.
mOdhiramum kiRiyum – the golden rings adorned on the divine fingers on the divine hand and the bracelet on the divine wrist, with small corals.
managala aim padaiyum – the auspicious SrI panchAyudham (figurines of the divine five weapons), adorned on the divine chest.
thOL vaLaiyum – complementing that, the rings adorned on the two divine shoulders
kuzhaiyum – the divine ear ornaments [on the lower portions of the divine ears]
magaramum – the divine ear rings [on the middle portions of the divine ears]
vALigaLum – the divine ear ornaments [on the upper portions of the divine ears]
chuttiyum – fixed on one side to the divine locks, hanging on the divine forehead, the ornament chutti
oththu ilaga – since these are hanging on either side, swaying [when he dances], they shine brightly; this implies that they shine apt for the splendorous divine form
engaL kudikku arasE! – Oh, one who is the head of our clan! You should perform sengIrai.
Ezhulagum … – Oh, one who is the lord of all the worlds! You should mercifully perform dance.
