Simple Translation

kaNNapirAn, in earlier times, had destroyed SiSupAlan, who was indulging in abominable activities, the two marudha trees, which stood in his way, seven oxen, monster bakAsuran [who came in the form of a stork] and kamsan, who had a victorious spear and great strength. Oh, kUdal! If that kaNNan were to come here, you agree.

vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

anRu innAdhana sey sisupAlanum – the implied meaning is that just as hurdles which came in the way of svayamvaram [an event where a lady chooses a husband of her choice from among assembled kings] of rukmiNi[ pirAtti [SrI mahAlakshmi] by the abominable activities indulged in by SiSupAlan were removed, now also, the hurdles which prevent our [ANdAL with kaNNan] union should disappear.

ninRa neeL marudhum – not being satisfied with sending several monsters individually, to kill kaNNan, kamsan had ordained two monsters to stand in the way of kaNNan when he would come crawling, so that they could kill him. ANdAL is frightened as to what would happen to kaNNan if they had harmed him together. Even though there is a purANic [as told in old treatises] story that two persons, naLa and kUbara had been turned into two trees due to a curse, hasn’t periyAzhwAr mercifully mentioned in periyAzhwAr thirumozhi 3-1-3 “poymmAya marudhAna asurarai” that two monsters had pervaded the two trees [in order to kill kaNNan]?

neeL marudhum – they were so tall that if they fell on someone, there would have been no escape.

erudhum – seven oxen which were kept as the wager [for marrying nappinnaip pirAtti]. While the marudha trees were only two in number, here there were seven monsters who had pervaded the seven oxen, who were waiting to trouble kaNNan.

puLLum – bakAsuran, the monster, who came in the form of a stork. Mentioning a few such monstrous people here is representative of all the monsters whom kamsan had sent, continuously, in order to kill kaNNan.

venRi vEl viral kanjanum – one who had a spear which had known only victory, until then. kamsan who had that spear, and who had sufficient strength in himself such that there was no need for that spear too.

kanjanum – kamsan, who had sent all the monsters mentioned previously, to kill kaNNan and who was their head.

vIzha mun konRavan – the way that kaNNan killed all these entities, one after another, with such speed, that it appeared that he had killed them all in one stroke.

varil kUdidi kUdalE – destroying all these entities, who were hurdles for her [ANdAL], it appeared that kaNNan was ready to attain ANdAL. She tells kUdal that if it agrees, then they could unite.
