Simple Translation
River ganga flowed down with high speed such that huge mountains such as mandhara etc moved; earth split and caved in; water reached up to the top of trees; trees, which were on the banks, got uprooted and broke down; ocean, which doesn’t get disturbed by anything, got disturbed. The distinguished abode of kaNdam, which lies on the bank of such gangA, is the dwelling abode of purushOththtaman, who has SrI mathurA, SrI SALagrAmam, SrI dhwArakA, SrI ayOdhyA and the expansive bhadharikASramam as his abodes.
vyAkhyAnam
vada dhisai madhurai – mathurA, which is in the northern direction. Since there is a madhurai in the southern direction [where periyAzhwAr was honoured by the king vallabadhEvan], SrI mathurA has been mentioned distinctively.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says, in his svApadhESam, that starting with vada madhurai, though there are many divine abodes for emperumAn, the divine abode where he resides, congruent with his divine heart, is kaNdam.
sALakkirAmam – SrI SALagrAmam, which is prominent among the sacred abodes
vaigundham – SrImadh vaikuNtam, which is aprAkrutham [not part of samsAram, materialistic realm] and which is emperumAn’s permanent dwelling abode
thuvarai – SrImadh dhwArakA, where emperumAn has taken residence as the bridegroom, with sixteen thousand one hundred and eight consorts carrying out servitude to him
ayOdhdhi – SrI ayOdhyA, which is the divine place of incarnation of SrI rAma, as mentioned in perumAL thirumozhi 8.6 “ayOdhdhi nagarkku adhipadhiyE” (Oh, one who is the chief of the divine ayOdhyA!) and which is the most desired place.
idam udai vadhari – SrI bhadhari, which is expansive and which is the abode where emperumAn incarnated in the divine forms of nara and nArAyaNa, mercifully instructing thirumanthram [one among the three esoteric principles of visishtAdhvaitham]
idavagai udaiya – one, who has these abodes as his dwelling places
em purudOththaman irukkai – it is the divine dwelling place for purushOththaman, who is dear to us, his followers.
thadavarai … – this narrates the speed with which gangA descended into earth, as a result of the strength of bhagIrathan’s penance.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that the himAlaya mountain, which is expansive, shifted a bit, like a stone, when gangA descended from the sky. From there, she jumped onto earth, such that earth sank a bit and the surface cracked.
thadavarai adhira – due to its descent from heights, huge mountains such as mandhara etc moved.
dharaNi viNdu idiya – due to falling from mountain onto the earth, the earth cracked and caved in
thalaippaRRik karai maram sAdi – rising to the level of top of trees, striking the trees on the banks, snapping them.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that the trees on the way were immersed with sand when gangA rose above their top and the trees on the banks were struck such that they were uprooted and pushed away.
kadalinaik kalankak kaduththizhi gangai – the river gangA, which made even the ocean, which is not disturbed by anything, to be disturbed.
thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that gangA came with such speed that even after cracking earth’s surface, her speed was such that she was jumping still, along the way.
kaNdam ennum kadi nagarE – it is the distinguished abode, named kaNdam.
