Simple Translation

Sages, who constantly meditate on emperumAn, carry out yagyams [rituals] on the banks of river gangA, which keeps throwing waves at the banks. At the end of their yagyams, the sages immerse themselves in the waters of the river. Once they complete their sacred bath, the river carries all their implements of yagyams such as plough etc. On the bank of such gangA is the distinguished abode of kaNdam. Clouds imbibed the entire water of ocean and poured them after reaching thiruvAyppAdi, roaring thunderously. krishNa lifted the hill gOvardhana as an umbrella, preventing even a drop of water falling on any person, who had taken refuge under him. He has deep affection for SrI mathurA and lives in that abode, kaNdam.

sala sala pozhindhida – The clouds poured out their contents [water], just like a pot of water, when inverted, pours down. sala sala – sound, made by water, when it pours.
