Simple translation

thirumangai AzhwAr, the leader of the thirumangai region, which is surrounded by forts and fertile fields, mercifully composed these ten pAsurams which are garland of thamizh words on nambi who is mercifully residing in thirunaRaiyUr where brAhmaNas, who are having goodness of ananyaprayOjathai are residing. Ancient karmas will not come near those who analyse and sing these pAsurams, in this world. Being here for a long time, they will rule over this world, and subsequently going to paramapadham, will get to enjoy bhagavAn, being honoured by nithyasUris.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

nanmai udaiya … – One who is complete in all auspicious qualities and is eternally residing in thirunaRaiyUr where brAhmaNas who are ananyaprayOjanas are residing.

kanni … – AzhwAr who is the king of thirumangai region which is surrounded by fort which acts as a protective layer, mercifully composed with tune these ten pAsurams which are like garland of thamizh words. Sins will not come close to those who analyse and sing these pAsurams, in this world. Instead of having to pray for the elimination of the sins as they come, the previously accumulated wealth of sins will themselves leave thinking “This is not our abode”.

manni ulagam ANdu … – Remaining in this samsAra, they will enjoy worldly pleasures and then will reach paramapadham and will eternally enjoy bhagavAn, to be honoured by nithyasUris.
