Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

pUvAr … – Oh you who are having divine chest which is desired and embraced by periya pirAttiyAr who was born in the flower but could not handle the heat of the flower [i.e. emperumAn’s divine chest is more tender than flower]!

nAvAr … – thirunAngUr which is inhabited by brAhmaNas who would be glorified all the time thinking “We got the purpose of our tongue fulfilled by glorifying their qualities” unlike in other cases where one glorifies others while in their presence and say “What did we have to do!” in their absence.

dhEvA … – Oh you who are shining due to descending from paramapadham into this world amidst the samsAris (materialistic people)!

AvA … – You should shower your mercy saying “He is living in this samsAram! Alas! Alas!”.
