I got to see bhagavAn in the dhivyadhESam named thirukkaNNamangai; he is beautiful like an elephant having very cruel anger; he is the lord who threw the monster who came as a calf on the monster who came as a wood apple to fall down and be destroyed; being a child, he sucked and mercifully consumed the poison from pUthanA to have her killed; he mercifully incarnated as poison to kill the famous demon rAvaNa, who was having the weapon, sword; he is enjoyable like nectar (for devotees); he is the lord of all; he is the complete one who is mercifully present on the heads of those who desire him; he is the cheater who cheated to have kamsan killed.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

venjinak kaLiRRai – One who is beautiful like an intoxicated elephant which is having cruel anger.

viLangAy … – The two monsters who came in the form of a calf and a wood apple were killed by using them against each other – one who is capable of doing that.

pEy magaL … – The young child who happily consumed the poison of pUthanA to kill her.

thOnRal … – The deity of death who incarnated to kill rAvaNa who was famously known as enemy in all the worlds and was wielding a weapon.

amudhaththinai – For the favourable ones, his presence itself is like nectar.

nachchuvAr uchchi mEl niRkum nambiyai – One who stands atop the heads of those who have even the slightest desire towards him and who remains complete by thinking that it is his own benefit to do so.

kanjanai … – Eliminating kamsan’s evil thought with himself; the one who deceives those who are unfavourable. I saw him in thirukkaNNamangai.
