Simple translation

I went searching for bhagavAn and got to see him in the dhivyadhESam named thirukkaNNamangai which is having orchards where drunk beetles are humming; he is satisfied’; he is the father of brahmA, who is the controller of the people in different directions; he is the dhEva who is surrendered to by dhEvathAs; he is the lord and chief among the three primary dhEvathAs viz brahmA, vishNu and rudhra (for the two other dhEvathAs); he is having a shining, radiant, luminous divine form; he is the controller of svargam (heaven) and bhUmi (earth); he is the one who has half of his body given to rudhran who has an eye on his forehead and being together with him; he is strong like narasimha; he is the benefactor who tore and put down kESi; he is like patapAgni which is present in water; he is sarvESvaran who is the lord of all.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

thiruththanai – Due to self-enjoyment, he is eternally satisfied.

thisai nAnmugan thandhaiyai – Being the father of brahmA who is greater than everyone in samsAram.

dhEva dhEvanai – Not just for brahmA, but he is the refuge for all the dhEvathAs.

mUvaril munniya viruththanai – One who remains clearly as the lord among the three dhEvathAs (brahmA, vishNu and rudhra) and not just brahmA.

viruththanai – vrudhdha – elder, The chief.

viLangum sudarch chOdhiyai – One who is having distinguished divine form beyond having the vishNu form amongst thrimUrthis (three primary dhEvathAs).

viNNai – One who is the [controller of] svargam etc which are enjoyable abodes.

maNNinai – One who is the [controller of] karma bhUmi where the means are pursued to attain such enjoyable abodes.

kaN nudhal kUdiya aruththanai – One who is having the half which hosts rudhra who has an eye in the forehead.

aruththan – ardha bhAgan (one who has granted half his body to rudhra).

ariyai – One who eliminates enemies.

pari kIRiya appanai – Benefactor who has virOdhi nirasanam (elimination of enemies) as a natural quality.

appil azhalAy ninRa karuththanai – Just as the patapAmukAgni (fire in the middle of ocean) will make the water rest on it and evaporate it, he is having the ability to make all the entities rest on him.

kaLi vaNdu aRaiyum – I saw such bhagavAn in thirukkaNNamangai which has orchards filled with drunk beetles which are humming.
