I went searching for bhagavAn and got to see him in the dhivyadhESam named thirukkaNNamangai; being a child, he mercifully consumed the poison which was present in pUthanA’s bosom; he is surrendered to by very wise persons; due to that, he is shining; he is amazing; he is the youthful person who was mercifully present along with mudhalAzhwArs in the divine verandah in thirukkOvalUr which is surrounded by forts; further, he is being present in the hearts of SrIvaishNavas and controls them; he is shining and having a radiantly effulgent form; he is my lord; he is my saviour, in dire situations, like wealth; he is desirable, like gold; he is the very best, like precious gem.

pEy mulai … – Mercifully consuming the poison in pUthanA’s bosom, he remained as an infant who does not know the effect of such act.
theLLiyAr vaNangap padum dhEvanai – Being surrendered to, not just by ignorant people, but by very wise persons. He is shining due to that.
mAyanai – Amazing entity.
madhiL kOval idai kazhi maindhanai – One who is eternally youthful and who jostled with his dear devotees where it was already cramped.
anRi andhaNar sindhaiyuL Isanai – Further, entering the hearts of his devotees, he controls them to follow him.
ilangum sudarch chOdhiyai – Though he is present in their physical bodies and souls, he remains untouched by the defects which come about based on the nature of the body and soul [body transforms and keeps changing; AthmA’s knowledge expands and shrinks].
endhaiyai – One who enslaved me by showing this nature.
enakku eyppinil vaippinai – One who is like the wealth which can be spent during difficult times for my survival.
kAsinai – He is desirable like gold.
maNiyai – One who is like precious gem, which can be obtained by melting that gold. Seeking him.
