Oh devotees! Sing these ten pAsurams, which are in the form of a garland of thamizh pAsurams, mercifully spoken by thirumangai AzhwAr, who is always having servitude for nambi of thirunaRaiyUr, which is surrounded by orchards, filled with beetles. As you sing and dance, your sorrow will be destroyed; you will get paramapadham.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
vaNdAr … – Due to the flood of honey, beetles are spreading on the orchards like buds on flower. AzhwAr sang the lord who is complete with all auspicious qualities, in thirunaRaiyUr, which is having such orchards.
thoNdAy … – thirumangai AzhwAr, who engaged in eternal kainkaryam at such nambi’s divine feet, mercifully spoke these ten thamizh pAsurams with music, which are like a garland. As all of you sing and dance just like I do with taste in them, paramapadham will be automatically attained by you and the sins which are the hurdles for such attainment will be automatically gone too.
In the next article we will enjoy the next pAsuram.
