Simple Translation

kulaSEkhara AzhwAr has a sharp spear which is accomplished enough to kill enemies. He desired to bow down to and worship the distinguished, gold-like divine feet of emperumAn who has mercifully come to thirumalai, which has cool mountain slopes. Those who learn well the mercifully composed thamizh songs which are spread well and are aligned to thamizh grammar, will be dear devotees to that thiruvEngadamudaiyAn.

vyAmyAnam

manniya thaN sAral vada vEngadaththAn than ponniyalum sEvadi kANbAn – the cool slopes of the hills in thiruvEngadam are such that they will bind those who see them, making them inseparable. They will remove the ennui of the onlookers. To see the distinguished, divine feet of emperumAn who has thirumalai, which is on the northern side, as his residence.

purindhu iRainji – having the devotion to see [those divine feet], to worship them with his head and sing with his mouth

konnavilum kUrvEl kulasEkaran sonna – just as he is capable of annihilating his enemies, he is equally capable of composing pAsurams, mercifully.

panniya nUl thamizh vallAr – spread among those who have devotion, those who are able to learn these pAsurams, which are congruent with the grammar of composing hymns

pAngAya paththargaLE – instead of having the necessity to desire “I should be born in that place which has connection with emperumAn or in this place”, being devoted to him such that they would subjugate themselves to emperumAn’s desire.
