Simple translation

Oh you who reveal the desire to keep the one who is the lord of SrI mahAlakshmi in your heart! You need not perform penance eating unripened fruits and fruits which have dried for many days, consuming the blowing wind and standing amidst five fires for many days; you go and reach thillaith thiruchchiththirakUdam where the brAhmaNas who are having the natural wealth of vEdham which is recited by mouth, conduct the fire everyday in the proper manner, where the greatness of the town is rising as the fire rises.

Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

kAyOdu … – Oh you who have the desire to keep Sriya:pathi in your heart without separating! Eating the unripened fruits which are yet to mature, the fruits which are dried in the heat and wind, drinking the harsh wind which is blowing, you need not perform penance for a long time, staying amidst five fires.

vAyOdhu … – thillaith thiruchchiththirakUdam where the fame is increasing by the continuous nurturing of the fire in the proper manner by the brAhmaNas who are having abundant natural wealth due to the lack of shortcoming in the vEdham which is recited by mouth.
