emperumAn who is ever youthful, desired by all, having beautiful form like that of a beautiful, dark cloud, made the fruit from wood apple tree, which was a demon, to fall down using vathsAsuran; previously, he stopped the rain with a mountain to protect the cows; he then danced with pots; being the joyful abode of such emperumAn, arimEya viNNagaram in thirunAngUr is having compound walls with flags, mansions, towers, halls which are filled densely with gems, sacrificial arenas, having abundance of the tumultuous noise of very pure brAhmaNas who have gathered in groups; the beetles have drunk honey and are humming in the freshly blossomed flowers in the dense garden. Oh obedient heart! Surrender unto the emperumAn there.

kanRu adhanAl … – The pet child who used the demon, who stood as a calf, to kill the demon, who stood as wood apple, and enjoyed leelArasam (joy); kAmaru – desirable; sIr – qualities; one who has such qualities and rejuvenating form; to protect the cows, he lifted the gOvardhana mountain and stopped the rain; this is the abode of the one who danced with pots in the four-way junction, joyfully residing.
kodi madhiLgaL … – Having compound walls which have flags, mansions, towers, halls which have densely packed gems, sacrificial arenas; the abode where brAhmaNas are making tumultuous noise by gathering together in groups, the beetles which drank honey from the fresh flowers, are humming beautifully.
