Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

mun ivvEzhulagu … – Previously, when this world became covered with darkness having lost the knowledge, brahmA et al surrendered at the divine feet of emperumAn and praised him; to separate the vEdham which became mixed with asuras (demons) and lost its form, he assumed the form of hamsa which can separate water and milk; oh one who brought vEdham which is more difficult than emperumAn to attain, and which can fully speak about emperumAn’s nature, into existence! You should kindly grant your mercy towards me.

mannu … – In the garden which has dense thAzhai with flowers always and mango trees, surumbu beetles drank the honey, and due to the substance which went in, not allowing them to remain calm, they started singing “thenna, thenna” and the beetles will sing songs which are well matured.
