Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

kavaLa yAnai … – parakAla nAyaki’s mother is saying “My daughter who is having beautiful limbs which will make bhagavAn blabber, has her joy matured; thus, she is blabbering about the town which is dear to him”. Saying “krishNa effortlessly broke the tusk of kuvalayApIdam which was fully fed, intoxicated and would jump on anyone it sees”.

kAmaru sIr … – His beauty is such that he is desirable even if it does not eliminate the hurdles and nurtures them; we cannot leave him. His beauty is desirable for those who have seen him; the lord has accepted such beautiful form which is comparable to karuneydhal flower, cloud and so on; he is having activities which are to be seen by me always – my daughter blabbers like this. Since there is no single comparable entity for his beauty, AzhwAr is picking several entities to compare with his beauty.

dhavaLa mAda … – The houses in that town are always painted with white colour; SrIman nArAyaNa who is eternally residing in thirunAngUr which has the whitish, tall mansions.

pavaLa vAyAL … – Whatever he blabbers when he sees her coral like lips, she is now blabbering the same saying about his town.
