Simple Translation

Oh one who created all the worlds through your lotus-like, divine navel! Oh one who drew the bow and shot the arrow to pierce the chest of the strong demon, thAtakA! Oh one who is my bluish gemstone and who has come mercifully to thiukkaNNapuram where those who you, willingly give up their minds to you! Oh one who has made the people in the eight directions to be your servitors! Oh SrI rAma! My lullaby to you.

vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

puNdariga malar adhan mEl buvani ellAm padaiththavanE – Oh one who created brahmA in your lotus-like, divine navel and remaining within him, one who created all the worlds!

thiN thiRalAL thAdagai than uram uruvach chilai vaLaiththAy – AzhwAr talks about how emperumAn, instead of merely creating the world and leaving at that, removed demons such as thAtakA et al, just as a farmer, besides cultivating the crop, removes the weeds too. Reference to thAtakA holds equally for other demons such as subhAhu et al. Oh one who drew the bow and shot an arrow to pierce the firm chest of thAtakA!

kaNdavar tham manam vazhangum kaNapuraththu en karumaNiyE – Oh one who stands in thirukkaNNapuram like a bluish gemstone such that those who come to worship you, give up voluntarily, their minds to you!

eNdhisaiyum ALudaiyAy irAgavanE thAlElO – Oh one who stands such that even those who came after this rAmAvathAram could come from all eight directions and worship! Lullaby to you.

We will consider the 3rd pAsuram of this decad, next.
