Oh, one who drank nectar from the divine lips of sIthAp pirAtti! Imbibing the sweet words of cow-herd girls who were playing on the streets, requesting emperumAn not to destroy their toy-houses, those who recite the thamizh pAsurams which came out of the divine words of ANdAL, who is the divine daughter of periyAzhwAr, the head of SrIvillupuththUr inhabited by those who recite vEdhams and who are totally devoted to emperumAn, will attain SrI vaikuNtam, without any deficiency.

vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

sIthai vAy amudham uNdAy – Just as it has been mentioned in SrI rAmAyaNam yudhdha kANdam 5-13 “kadhAnu chArubimbOshtam thasyA: padhmamivAnanam l Ishadhunnamya pAsyAmi rasAyanamivOththamam ll” (Slightly lifting the divine face of that dhEvi [sIthAp pirAtti], which is like a lotus, when will I drink that beautiful divine lip, which is like a reddish fruit, like an eminent juice?), it will be of benefit to you if you indulge in such an activity with an apt lady such as sIthAp pirAtti. What is the purpose in carrying out such an activity with little girls such as we are?

engaL siRRil nI sidhaiyEl enRu – saying “Do not come uninvited and destroy the toy-houses built by us, who do not have the age or the knowledge to carry out tasks pleasing to you”

vIdhi vAy ….. mazhalaich chollai – the words of little girls in cowherd clan, who play in a careless way, in the middle of the street, dressed in a haphazard manner, without covering the limbs which are to be covered properly

vEdha vAy …… vallavar – periyAzhwAr is the head of SrIvillipuththUr, which is inhabited by those whose words, coming out of their mouths, are those which are written in vEdhams and whose activities are all related to vEdham. ANdAL is the divine daughter of that periyAzhwAr. Those who are capable of reciting, knowing their meanings, these ten pAsurams, which gradually came out of the divine mouth of that ANdAL, and which are full of divine experience

kuRaivinRi vaigundham sErvarE – without the deficiency faced by ANdAL who, once she was embraced by emperumAn, had to look in all the sides, with fear, to check as to what anyone would say upon seeing that, and without the deficiency of having to fall at the feet of kAman, would attain SrI vaikuNtam, once embraced by emperumAn, and be together with nithyasUris, who have been mentioned by nammAzhwAr in thiruvAimozhi 8-3-6 as “paNiyA amarar” (not having the need to worship anyone other than emperumAn), and enjoy there [carrying out kainkaryam to emperumAn].

Next, we will consider the third decad of this prabandham.
