Oh one who has the radiantly shining thiruvAzhi as the weapon and the distinguished SrI pAnchajanyam!”; there, as the male swan having reddish feet along with its female swan stomps on the gathered lotus flowers, the sengazhunIr flowers which are present in between those lotus flowers, start flooding the honey from inside into the canals though the canals are filled and flowing.
Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
vidai Oda – Winning the bulls, which were hurdles for his union with nappinnaip pirAtti, to make them run away
Aychchi men thOL nayandha vigirdhA – Oh who has the distinguished act of desiring her tender shoulders!
viLangu … – Oh one who is having the distinguished SrI pAnchajanyam along with the weapon thiruvAzhi which is having radiance and which is contrasting your divine complexion!
ena ninRu – Saying in this manner.
imaiyOr paravum idam – The abode where dhEvathAs such as brahmA et al are continuously praising.
paim thadam … – The male swan entered the beautiful ponds to drink the honey; as it entered along with its spouse, due to drinking the honey, being unable to see the next steps, it is unable to preserve the lotus flowers which is its abode; the flowers get stomped due to that.
thogai … – In between the gathered lotus flowers, the honey flooding from the sengazhunIr flower is flowing out and reaching the canals which are already filled, due to having too much of it. As the swans stomp in between the dense lotus flowers, the sengazhunIr flower will create a flood of honey. In such thirnAngUr.
