Mamunigal is seated in the shadow of the feet of his Acharya. The word <\/span>Srimathi Mandape<\/span><\/i> means the much luminous <\/span>Mandapa<\/span><\/i>. Here, the luminous means that Mamunigal brought the sand from the <\/span>Tirumaligai<\/span><\/i> (House) of <\/span>Purvacharyas<\/span><\/i> like <\/span>Pillai Lokacharya<\/span><\/i> and smeared it in the wall etc. It is best known that the sanctity of the place where great people\u2019s feet touched the sand is beyond question. Hence, this <\/span>Mandapa<\/span><\/i> is sanctified. \u00a0Here, there is another version in the rendering of words in the sixth ending case with plurality <\/span>Thad angri pankaja dwandachchaya madhya nivasinaam.<\/span><\/i> In this version, it means that in the midst of feet of <\/span>Tiruvoymozhi-p-pillai,<\/span><\/i> disciples like Mamunigal are seated.
