and stopping doing it, will repeatedly do this creation [creation, sustenance and annihilation] thinking &#8220;if not today, some day, someone will reach me&#8221;;<\/li>\n<li><em>maruL il &#8230;<\/em> &#8211; Since <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> was bestowed pristine knowledge\/devotion by <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">bhagavAn<\/a> himself, he would have no confusion about the auspicious qualities of bhagavAn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And the prabandham is,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>theruL koLLach chonna OrAyiram<\/em> &#8211; For <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a>, there was ignorance [in infinite number of previous lives] and it was eliminated [by <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">bhagavAn<\/a> in this life]; but for those who learn AzhwAr&#8217;s prabandham, their ignorance will be immediately eliminated and they will acquire pure knowledge. ISwara is the source for his knowledge; he is the source for our knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What does the prabandham do?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>aruL udaiyavan<\/em> &#8230; &#8211; bhagavAn is identified by his mercy [that is the unique differentiating factor for him from others]. This decad will unite the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\">jIvAthmAs<\/a> with the divine feet of the one who is filled with mercy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While doing so,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>mudiththE<\/em> &#8211; It will eradicate the bondage in this samsAram (material realm) with its impressions (any trace of subconscious attachment) and unite them with the divine feet of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>. It is not just a tool to instil knowledge, it will literally be in action, uniting us with the divine feet of emperumAn.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Finally, nampiLLai summarizes the contents of this decad briefly.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-1-kilaroli-ilamai\/\">first pAsuram<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> said &#8220;quickly take shelter of thirumalai (divine hill)&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-2-sadhirila-madavar\/\">second pAsuram<\/a>, he said &#8220;take shelter of the dhivyadhESam attached to the divine hill&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-3-payanalla-seydhu\/\">third pAsuram<\/a>, he said &#8220;even the neighbouring hill of the thirumalai is sufficient [for our being uplifted]&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-4-karumavan-pasam\/\">fourth pAsuram<\/a>, he instructed us to take shelter of thirumalai again as done in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/01\/kanninun-chiru-thambu-3-thirithanthagilum\/\">kaNNinuN chiRuth thAmbu 3<\/a> &#8220;<em>thiridhandhAgilum<\/em>&#8221; (even if done again).<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-5-thiramudai-valaththal\/\">fifth pAsuram<\/a>,\u00a0 he said &#8220;take shelter of the outer hill around the thirumalai&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-6-kiriyena-ninaimin\/\">sixth pAsuram<\/a>, he said &#8220;it is sufficient to think about the path that leads to thirumalai&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-7-nalamena-ninaimin\/\">seventh pAsuram<\/a>, he instructed us to take shelter of the hill that is attached to the path that leads to thirumalai.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-8-valam-seydhu\/\">eighth pAsuram<\/a>, he said \u201cthirumalai is the ultimate goal since it is the goal for nithyasUris too\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-9-vazhakkena-ninaimin\/\">ninth pAsuram<\/a>,\u00a0 he insisted that the firm belief in &#8220;We will worship thirumalai&#8221; is required.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/07\/thiruvaimozhi-2-10-10-sudhenru-kalavum\/\">tenth pAsuram<\/a>, he concluded that taking shelter of thirumalai is the goal with respect to all aspects.<\/li>\n<li>In the end, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> mercifully explained the href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/11\/thiruvaimozhi-2-1-vayum\/\">first decad<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> said that since <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> is most distinct\/beautiful as said in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/10\/thiruvaimozhi-1-10-11-maniyai-vanavar\/\">thiruvAimozhi 1.10.11<\/a> &#8220;<em>maNiyai vAnavar kaNNAnaith thannadhOr aNiyai<\/em>&#8220;, he will make those who are separated from him to crave for him.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/01\/thiruvaimozhi-2-2-thinnan\/\">second decad<\/a>, he said &#8220;Even when united with him, he will make others fully forget about everything else&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/02\/thiruvaimozhi-2-3-unil-vazh\/\">third decad<\/a>, he said &#8220;emperumAn with whom he united is greatly joyful&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-2-4-adiyadi\/\">fourth decad<\/a>, he became bewildered since he did not unite and enjoy <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> with those great leaders (nithyasUris) who are experts in emperumAn&#8217;s aspects.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-2-5-andhamaththanbu\/\">fifth decad<\/a>, he explained emperumAn uniting with him as he desired.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-2-6-vaikundha\/\">sixth decad<\/a>, he said &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> would doubt unnecessarily that <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> may leave&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/04\/thiruvaimozhi-2-7-kesavan-thamar\/\">seventh decad<\/a>, he explained how <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> pursued those who are related to <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> and his relatives.<\/li>\n<li>In the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2016\/05\/thiruvaimozhi-2-8-anaivadhu\/\">eighth decad<\/a>, he explained <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a>&#8216;s mOksha pradhathvam (ability to bestow liberation).<\/li>\n<li>In the <a
