This is explained in mahAbhAratham SAnthi parvam 169 &#8220;&#8230; <em>thadhASritha panthAnau srushtisamhArakArakau &#8230;<\/em>&#8221; (the top most of dhEvas (celestial beings), brahmA and rudhra who were born from bhagavAn&#8217;s mercy and anger respectively, being guided by him, perform creation and annihilation &#8211; this is explained in smruthi) and SrIvishNu dharmam &#8220;&#8230; <em>srushtim thatha: karishyAmi thvAmAviSya prajApathE ||<\/em>&#8221; (Oh brahmA! I am going to create and place the earth as before, enter you and create subsequently).<\/li>\n<li><em>puNarththa than undhiyOdu Agaththu manni puNarkkum ayanAm azhikkum aranAm<\/em> &#8211; They can only perform their tasks when they are connected with his divine body, just like a suckling baby cannot sustain itself when the mother withdraws her bosom from its mouth. With this, <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">bhagavAn<\/a>&#8216;s antharyAmithvam (being the in-dwelling soul) is explained through sAmAnAdhikaraNyam (one entity being the common bearer of multiple entities which perform different tasks). By saying &#8220;<em>puNarththa than undhi<\/em>&#8221; (created in his navel), his kAraNathvam (being the cause) is established; by saying &#8220;<em>Agaththu manni<\/em>&#8221; (eternally residing in his divine body), their existence depending on his divine body is established.<\/li>\n<li><em>puNarththa thiruvAgith than mArvil<\/em> &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> is the one who has <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sri-mahalakshmi\/\">SrI mahAlakshmi<\/a> in his chest eternally being united with him. Why is this explained now? Just like his being the creator reveals his control over everyone, the relationship with lakshmi is also an important factor that shows his control\/wealth.
