flower being <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thAyAr<\/a>\u2019s abode, her husband that is <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sarvESvaran<\/a>,<br \/>\n<strong>all the above are all<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>senthamizh ARaNamE enRu<\/em> \u2013the dhrAvida vEdham that is <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> for him (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>);<br \/>\n<em>mARan<\/em> \u2013 that is, what <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a><br \/>\n<em>viLaingiya<\/em> \u2013 due to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>\u2019s grace<br \/>\n<em>seer nERi tharum<\/em> \u2013 got the parabhakthi etc., at the culmination of which, he bestowed such <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> to us;<br \/>\n<em>irAmAnusan<\/em> \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a><br \/>\nbeing in such state which<br \/>\n<em>inneeL nilatthOr<\/em> \u2013 those in this big world<br \/>\n<em>aRi thara ninRa <\/em>\u2013 know about,<br \/>\n<em>enakku AramudhE<\/em> \u2013 is forever my object of enjoyment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>uRu perum selvamum \u2013 uRu<\/em> \u2013\u00a0<\/strong> The non-preferred wealth that is said in \u2018<em>abhindhana dhananjaya prasamadham dhanam dhandhanam<\/em> [vairAgya panchakam \u2013 5]\u2019 (wealth (obtained by serving others) which will quell one\u2019s hunger but would bring sorrow), unlike that,<\/p>\n<p>the wealth (<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>) is like said in \u2018<em>dhananjaya vivardhanam dhanam udhUda gOvardhanam susAdhanam abAdhanam sumansAm samArAdhanam<\/em> [vairAgya panchakam \u2013 5]\u2019 (Whereas the wealth which made Arjuna superior, the wealth which was able to lift gOvardhana, and that which fills one\u2019s mind with joy, is the true good wealth which one shall possess),<\/p>\n<p>and in \u2018<em>sAhiSrIramrudhAsadhAm<\/em>\u2019, so it is aids in getting <em>mOksham<\/em> (liberation), and so it is the wealth desired;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>perum<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Unlike as said in <em>\u2018kSheeNE puNyEmarthyalOkam vichanthi<\/em> [<a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">bhagavath gIthA<\/a> &#8211; 9.21]<em>\u2019 <\/em>(they return to this material world again (after getting any flickering happiness in heaven)), and as said in \u2018<em>oru nAyakamAi Oda ulagudan ANdavar, karu nAy kavarndha kAlar sithaigiya pAnaiyar, peru nAdu kANa immaiyilE pichchai thAm koLvar<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> &#8211; 4.1.1]<em>\u2019 <\/em>(Even those who had run the whole world as emperors, might, due to the effect of time, end up holding a broken pot to use for taking alms, going in dark for that, and step of a black dog and get bitten, etc.,), where it is very very little and impermanent,<\/p>\n<p>this wealth (<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>) is big like said in \u2018<em>koLLak kuRaivaRRu ilangi, kozhundhu vittu Ongiya <\/em>[rAmAnusa nURRanthAdhi &#8211; 27]\u2019 (your generosity that does not decrease when taken, and it is glowing bright), it suffuses as we take more and more from it;<\/p>\n<p><strong>selvamum<\/strong><em> &#8211;<\/em> wealth, and; this (<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>) is \u2018<em>aLaviyanRa anthAdhi Ayiram<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/08\/thiruvaimozhi-1-4-11-alavu-iyanra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; 1.4.11<\/a>]\u2019 (anthAdhi style pAsurm having all qualities).<\/p>\n<p><strong>thanthaiyum thAyum \u2013 <\/strong>As said in \u2018<em>mAthA pithA sahasrEbhyO vathsala tharam SAsthram<\/em>\u2019 (~ SAsthram is more affectionate than a thousand mothers and fathers), everyone go for the vEdhas that help all to live well; In the same way, since this (<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>) is considered as \u2018<em>dhrAvida vEdha sAgaram<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-thaniyans-invocation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi thaniyan<\/a>]\u2019 (an ocean of dhrAvida (thamizh) vEdham), that is as the vEdham, it is being helpful for everyone to reach the true goal, and as said in \u2018<em>bhakthAmrutham viSva jana anumOdhanam<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-thaniyans-invocation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi thaniyan<\/a>]\u2019 (that which is nectarean for the devotees, that which pleases everyone, that which is accepted by everyone), and as said in \u2018<em>thoNdarkku amudhu uNNach chon mAlaigaL sonnEn<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> 9.4.9]\u2019 (created this <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> as a nectar of devotion for devotees), it is focused on being affectionate only, and in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> starting from \u2018<em>veedumin muRRavum<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/05\/thiruvaimozhi-1-2-11-serth-thadam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; 1.2.1<\/a>]\u2019 (give up all the other things), through<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>kaNNan kazhal iNai<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> &#8211; 10.5.1]\u2019 (divine feet of krishNan) it is having words that preaches about beneficial <em>(hitham) <\/em>things, so it is being in the form of being beneficial, <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> is being mother and father.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>uyar guruvum<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Unlike as described in \u2018<em>puthrAn bhandhUn sakeen gurUn \u2013 sarva dharmAmscha samthyajya<\/em> [vihagESwara samhithA 22]\u2019 (considering the greatness of His divine feet, we should give up all others and firmly hold on to His feet), where the guru is included in the list of those to be given up,<\/p>\n<p>it is as said in \u2018<em>athra parathra chApi<\/em> [sthOthra rathnam \u2013 2]\u2019 (there and here), it is one\u2019s AchAryan who is the best means here and in the other world, who removes the ignorance in us as said in \u2018<em>poruL allAdha ennaip poruL Akki<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> &#8211; 5.7.3]\u2019 (me who had not realized about my true nature, you made me something according to my true nature) ; it is due to him being a great helper in this way is why he is not included in the list of those to be given up; <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">amudhanAr<\/a> is saying \u2018<strong><em>guru<\/em><\/strong><em>\u2019<\/em> because AchAryan is of greatness and he removes the darkness in us; this is as said in \u2018<em>anthakAra nirOdhithvAth gururithyapitheeyathE<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>veRi tharu pUmagaL nAthanum<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 veRi -&gt; fragrance. This word is an adjective to flower; pUmagaL -&gt; indicates <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sri-mahalakshmi\/\">periya pirAtti (SrI mAhAlakshmi)<\/a> who is having such a flower as the birth place; nAthan -&gt; husband of her as said in \u2018<em>pUmagaLAr thanik kELvan<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/10\/thiruvaimozhi-1-9-3-arugalilaya\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; 1.9.3<\/a>]\u2019 (unparalleled husband of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">periya pirAttiyAr<\/a>), He is the <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sarvESvaran<\/a>;<\/p>\n<p>Or,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>veRi tharu pUmagaL<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>The word <em>veRi<\/em> (fragrance) is an adjective to periya pirAtti, as said in \u2018<em>gandhadhvArAm<\/em> [SrI suktham]\u2019, periya pirAttiyAr having auspicious fragrance in her divine body;<\/p>\n<p>Or,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>veRi tharu pUmagaL nAthan \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>The word veRi (fragrance) is an adjective to the husband of periya pirAttiyAr, that is, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>, as said in \u2018<em>sva gandha:&#8217;<\/em>, He who is of the nature of having auspicious fragrance who is the husband of periya pirAttiAr.<\/p>\n<p>What are all of these love for him (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) towards? It is towards <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> of nammAzhvAr as said in &#8211; <strong><em>mARan viLangiya seer neRi tharum senthamizh AraNamE enRu<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>mAran<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>By the father kAri, this divine name was offered to <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">nammazhvAr<\/a> (<em>samarpikkappatta thirunAmam)<\/em>; for such nammAzhvAr,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>viLangiya<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 being present (in himself \/ by <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>); <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sarvESvaran<\/a> due to his own mercy made AzhvAr know all the meanings of both the worlds, as said in \u2018<em>mayarvaRa mathi nalam aruLinan<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-1-1-1-uyarvara-uyarnalam\/\">thiruvAimozhi 1.1.1<\/a>]\u2019 (bestowed unblemished knowledge); so what is eternal and not created by anyone, such vEdham, as said in \u2018<em>Evam nithyAthma bhUkathAs satakOpa praNEshyathi&#8217;<\/em>, is made to be available to AzhvAr; so <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">amudhanAr<\/a> is using the word \u2018<em>viLangiya\u2019 <\/em> (to imply that AzhvAr did not learn it as he is not eligible by birth, but it is within him and is brought out by <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>seer neRi <\/em><\/strong>&#8211; seer =&gt; SrI =&gt; wealth; provides details of the wealth of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>\u2019s nature, form, qualities, and magnificence, nERi -&gt; how it is done -&gt; slowly.. slowly..
