It is talking about what such a person did, as \u2018<em>tham ugappAl\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>That is, seeing <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/16\/nampillai-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nampiLLai<\/a>\u2019s greatness of knowledge and wealth of disciples, he could not tolerate, and got jealous, and in the presence of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">perumAL<\/a> insulted him, and, as he returned to his home, his divine wife who is of goodness, heard about this, and said a few words of regret, and hearing those words of her, he got his jealousy cleared as said in <em>\u2018pramAdhAth budhdhithOvApi yadhaka: kriyathE sadhA anuthaprasthu thAnEva kshamayEnnAnyathA sama:\u2019<\/em> (~due to inattentiveness or knowingly what mistake is committed, always be repenting and asking for bearing \/forgiving it; it cannot be any other way),<\/p>\n<p>with great regret, to find the lost item in the actual place, was starting to go there with additional support,<\/p>\n<p>at that time, as said in \u2018<em>ahEthOrapi sakrOdha marchchayan achyuthapriyam prabOdhya vividhairyathnai: praSAdhayEth<\/em>\u2019 (~ When one who does archanai and is dear to <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">achyuthan<\/a> gets angry without any reason, a knowledgeable one should try to get his mercy and satisfy him [is this the correct interpretation??]),<\/p>\n<p>(thOzhappar decided) to please him, had come to the entrance of his divine house (thirumALigai), and was being there in the pial (<em>thiNNai<\/em> \/ front patio), saw such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/16\/nampillai-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nampiLLai<\/a>, and saw and heard his very submissive words and actions, and with love wondered what a way this exchange was, and due to excess of love, looked at him and said \u2018All these days you were an AchAryan for a few people; now you have become fit for being an AchAryan for the whole world\u2019, \u2018<strong><em>enna ulagAriyar(n)O enRu uraikka\u2019 &#8211; <\/em><\/strong> what, are you the <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/16\/nampillai-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lOkAchAryan<\/a>, saying so he divined this name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/nampillai.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6809\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6809\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/nampillai.jpg\" alt=\"nampillai\" width=\"385\" height=\"513\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/nampillai.jpg 300w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/nampillai-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 385px) 100vw, 385px\" \/><\/a><em>ulagAsiriyan (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/16\/nampillai-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nampiLLai<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is also referenced in <em>\u2018lOkAchAryabhidhAmdhathu: kalijidhdhAsa sUrayE | syAmEbhESasya charaNau karaNaisthribhirASrayE || dhayayA dhEvarAjasya dhAsarathyAryasanthathE | abhivrudhdhikaram vandhE harithadhvipadhESikam\u2019<\/em> .<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>pinnai ulagAriyan ennum pEr, <\/em><\/strong><em>etc. \u2013 <\/em>After getting the name due to him, the name <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/16\/nampillai-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lokAchAryar<\/a> attained greatness (due to being associated with such great personality), and it was established for <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/16\/nampillai-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nampiLLai<\/a> in all the worlds.
