such is this person who has the greatness of having the name of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/02\/27\/thirukkoshtiyur-nambi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nambi<\/a>, and because of that, he was being important than others for him (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>), and learned from him (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) all inner meanings of vEdhAntham, and was knowledgeable in all sAsthras, and grew thamizh and samskrutha vEdhanthams as ubhaya vEdhAntha pravarththakar (one who enriches\/spreads it).<\/p>\n<p><strong>nanjIyar \u2013<\/strong> he is: loved as \u2018<em>nammudaiya jIyar<\/em>\u2019 (our jIyar) by the divine son of fully knowledgeable <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/kurathazhwan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kUraththAzhvAn<\/a>, that is <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/11\/parasara-bhattar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bhattar<\/a> who knows all the SAsthrams; and (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/14\/nanjiyar-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nanjIyar<\/a>) learned all the meanings in the sannidhi (presence) of bhattar, without any doubt or confusion, and after that explained <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> a hundred times and due to that had the sadhAbhishEkam (honour of completing a hundred).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/nanjeeyar.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-443\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-443\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/nanjeeyar.jpg\" alt=\"nanjeeyar\" width=\"235\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a><em>nanjIyar<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>periyavAchchAn piLLAi<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 he is &#8211; Other parts of us are the pathway for the mind.
