starting with \u2018<em>OrAN vazhiyAy upadhEsiththAr\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Not having any difference between the meanings of prapaththi and of <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>, it is talking about &#8211; for growing <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>, to begin with he (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) divined the meaning of prapaththi first.<\/p>\n<p>It was divined as \u2018<em>dhvayArththam dhIrga SaraNAgathi enRadhu sArasangrahaththilE<\/em> [AchArya hrudhayam \u2013 210]<em>\u2019, <\/em>wasn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p>One who teaches <a href=\"http:\/\/ponnadi.blogspot.com\/2015\/12\/rahasya-thrayam.html\">dhvayam<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> is the one who would be complete in being an AchAryan, is what they divined about this.<\/p>\n<p>As said in \u2018<em>samanthrarAja dhvayamAhayasmai<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/22\/nathamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nAthamunigaL<\/a> thaniyan as recited by the lineage of araiyar]\u2019 (who was taught thirumanthram dhvayam.. (by <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nammAzhvAr<\/a>)), it is only after divining dhvayam that <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nammAzhvAr<\/a> divined <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> and other prabandhams to periya mudhaliyAr (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/22\/nathamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SrIman nAthamunigaL<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>In the same way, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> divines by nurturing dhvayam and <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>, isn\u2019t it? So he first grew dhvayam first. Only after becoming experts in dhvayam would one start enriching on <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a>, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>OrAN vazhiyAy \u2013 <\/em><\/strong> Teaching only one or few eminent souls is how earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a> were carrying out this.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>munnOr &#8211; <\/em><\/strong> they are the ones before <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>, that is, those starting from \u2018<em>aruL peRRa<\/em> [upadhESa raththinamAlai \u2013 36]\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/22\/nathamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nAthamunigaL<\/a>. They considered the dignity of meanings and so were teaching in secrecy and protected it. nambi (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/02\/27\/thirukkoshtiyur-nambi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirukkOttiyUr nambi<\/a>) too got promise from <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> before divining its meaning to him.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>eR Ar ethirAsar innaruLAl \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>unlike that, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> who is the lord of yathis, instead of focusing on the greatness of the meanings, saw the deterioration of these people, and based on only having loving kindness, did he propagate it.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>eR Ar ethirAsar \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>That is, as said in \u2018<em>rUpamEvAsyai thanmahimAnam vyAchashtE<\/em> [yajur vEdham]\u2019 (he said about the greatness of its beauty\/form), and can be said as \u2018<em>Er Arum seyya vadivu<\/em> [Arththi prabandham \u2013 30]<em>\u2019<\/em> ((<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> of) complete beauty and elegant form), &#8211; by complete shining grace of his divine auspicious body he is of attraction to everyone, he could not tolerate as he saw the poor state of samsAris, and due to his causeless mercy only did he advise in this way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> corrected and protected the world with his quality of mesmerizing physical appearance and his quality of soul (Athma guNam).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/EmperumAnar_thirukoshtiyur.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6488\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-6488\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/EmperumAnar_thirukoshtiyur.jpg\" alt=\"EmperumAnar_thirukoshtiyur\" width=\"345\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/EmperumAnar_thirukoshtiyur.jpg 485w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/EmperumAnar_thirukoshtiyur-258x300.jpg 258w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 345px) 100vw, 345px\" \/><\/a><em>emperumAnAr as divining from thirukkOshtiyUr<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If asked who are the eligible \u2013<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>pAr ulagil Asai udaiyOrkkellAm \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>for those living in this world who have got even little interest.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Asai udaiyOr \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Like saying \u2018<em>nidhi udaiyOr\u2019, <\/em>it is to be said as \u2018<em>paththudai adiyavakku<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/06\/thiruvaimozhi-1-3-1-paththudai-adiyavar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi 1.3.1<\/a>]\u2019 (to the adiyArs who have the devotion).<\/p>\n<p>In this world those who are interested in this, is rare indeed.<\/p>\n<p>So without looking at the superiority or inferiority based on their birth, living, and knowledge (<em>janma, vruththa, gyAnam),<\/em> and looking only at the indication of interest by being amicable (to the teachings), you tell them the greatest meanings that I have told you;<\/p>\n<p>Since he (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) is devoted to the divine feet of the one (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nammAzhvAr<\/a>) who said, \u2018<em>maRRu onRillai surungach chonnOm mAnilaththu evvuyirkkum <\/em>[<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> 9.1.7]\u2019 (there is no upAyAntharam (other means), will say it short to everyone in this wide world), he (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) divined: \u2018<em>pAr ulagil Asai udaiyOrkkellAm\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>AriyargAL &#8211;<\/strong> As said in \u2018<em>kAryam karuNamAryENa<\/em> [SrI rAmAyaNam yudhdha kANdam \u2013 116.49]<em>\u2019 <\/em>(for the one having good virtues, it is apt to be kind), you also just by kindness do the teaching (he said). He is removing the boundaries by speaking based on his sweet kindness, isn\u2019t it? In the same way he is divining them also to teach.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>AriyargAL \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>He was addressing those who were present with him at that time in front of theRkAzhvAn, saying that \u2013 like me you also use the little interest shown, and teach all such people \u2013 saying so he removes the hurdles.<\/p>\n<p>Or,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>AriyargAL \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>is also referring to those he established as the set of <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a> that include <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/kurathazhwan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kUraththAzhvAn<\/a> and such 74 noble ones.<\/p>\n<p>By this it gives the meaning that those who have learned from a very valued AchAryan <em>(peru madhippan)<\/em> themselves shall teach, and those who have the interest (<em>sradhdhai<\/em>) shall learn from them.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>AriyargAL kURum enRu pEsi varambu aRuththAr pin \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>Previous <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a>, as said in \u2018<em>idham thE nAthapaskAya<\/em> [<a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">srI bhagavath gIthA<\/a> \u2013 18.67]\u2019 (what I have said, secretly), told their disciples not to teach everyone but just be involved in it themselves, and so had kept it in secrecy. Afterwards, since he (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) is ever interested in betterment of others, told by mouth that you spread it by your teachings.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>munnOr varambu aRuththAr pin &#8211; <\/em><\/strong> Like that time when <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">perumAL<\/a> (SrI rAman) stopped and destroyed the boundary put by the mudhalis (mAhArAjar and his groups) (by accepting vibhIshaNan?), here too he (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) crossed the boundaries put in by them (earlier <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a>).
