What a suffering! Decorating our hair with the fresh flowers from the kOngu trees which are having clusters of flowers, emperumAn showed such love that if he separates, I will die; thiruppullANi is the abode of such emperumAn and having the ocean where the waves are pushing pearls which are born in the conches; worship that abode and be uplifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlights from vyAkyAnam (Commentary)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>uNaril uLLam sudumAl <\/strong>&#8211; Previously parakAla nAyaki told that she cannot forget bhagavAn; here she says that she cannot think about bhagavAn. Forgetting and thinking are two different things; now both are being difficult. If she thinks about bhagavAn to spend her time, that is burning the body\/self. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>uNaril <\/strong>&#8211; No need to try hard to think; just as she starts thinking, the mind is burning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>vinaiyEn <\/strong>&#8211; I have committed such sins that whatever [thinking about him] will make me live is tormenting me now. Some greatly fortunate persons [like sIthAp pirAtti] sustained themselves by thinking about past experience as said in SrI rAmAyaNam sundhara kANdam 33.17 \u201c<em><strong>samA dhvAdhaSa thathrAham<\/strong> rAghavasya nivEsanE<\/em> l <em>punjAnAmAnushAn bhOgAn sarva kAma samrudhdhinI<\/em>\u201d (After our marriage, in the palace of SrI rAma, I had all my desires fulfilled, experiencing enjoyments, beyond human species, for twelve years).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>thozdhuum ezhu <\/strong>&#8211; We need this [dhivyadhESam] at all times. As we lose our hold on everything else, we can only hold on to this dhivyadhESam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>thuNari nAzhal naRumpOdhu nam sUzh kuzhal peydhu <\/strong>&#8211; Decorating my knotted hair with the fresh flowers from the kOngu tree which has clusters of flowers, he would say as in SrIvishNu purANam 5.13.34 &#8220;<em>athrOpaviSya sA thEna kApi pushpair alankruthA<\/em>&#8221; (Being right here, that girl was adorned with flowers by him).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>pin thaNaril Avi thaLarumena anbu thandhAnidam <\/strong>&#8211; He interacted with me in such a way that when we don&#8217;t become the recipient of his love, both of us will cease to exist. <em>thaNaril <\/em>&#8211; <em>piriyil <\/em>&#8211; if separated; also <em>thAzhkkil <\/em>&#8211; delaying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>anbu thandhAnidam <\/strong>&#8211; With all of this, he has put in his effort to create love in me towards him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>puNari Odham paNilamaNi undhu pullANiyE <\/strong>&#8211; The waves of the ocean will push the pearls yielded by the conches. These are best pearls which need not be tested by experts since their nature can be understood just be seeing them while yielded. As the conches are tossed around in the waves, they will yield the pearls during their journey towards the shore.
