I, the servitor, won’t desire any of these persons such as parents, relatives as my relatives; I have no attachment towards other persons; hence, I have surrendered unto you only; hence, having the consideration “He is related to me” in your divine heart, you mercifully shower your grace to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n peRRAr … <\/strong>– I won’t consider others as my relative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n maRRArum paRRilEn <\/strong>– I have no one, even who say “Alas! He has no one else”; bhagavAn says “Even if you don’t have others, don’t you have yourself for you?” AzhwAr says “I am a bottleneck for myself”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n AdhalAl nin adaindhEn <\/strong>– For someone who has no hold, when he surrenders , he needs a ground. SrI rAmAyaNam sundhara kANdam 38.35 \u201csatham nipathitham bhUmau <\/strong>saraNya: saraNAgatham<\/em> I vadhArhamapi kAkuthsa: krupayA paryapAlayath<\/em> II\u201d (even though kAkAsuran, who fell to the ground and surrendered, deserved to be killed, SrI rAma, through his grace, saved him, as he is the refuge).<\/p>\n\n\n\n uRRAn enRu uLLaththu vaiththu <\/strong>– Considering in your divine heart “He went away from me and suffered a lot”, you should shower your grace towards me. Alternative explanation – Considering in your divine heart “Isn’t our relationship, which cannot be severed by me, is in your hands? [The purport of this SlOkam] Why are you analysing the unnecessary aspects [faults] in them?
