Those, who recite these pAsurams, which have been mercifully composed by such periyAzhwAr, will get to see the divine feet of krishNa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n marudham \u2026<\/strong> – the divine mountain, which is decorated with gardens, having marudha<\/em> trees and which has the divine name thirumAlirum sOlai<\/em>. The word thannai<\/em> emphasises the overflowing enjoyable nature of the mountain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n thiruvAimozhip piLLai says, in his svApadhESam, that carrying out mangaLASAsanam, which is his basic nature, is AzhwAr\u2019s vow. While samsAris [those who live in samsAram, the materialistic realm] hold on to worldly pursuits and give up emperumAn or holding on to him, and asking him to get rid of their worldly pursuits, for periyAzhwAr, the vratham<\/em>, which is in the form of carrying out mangaLASAsanam, is to break krishNa\u2019s vratham<\/em> of \u201cthEyththuk kidakka nAn ottEn<\/em>\u201d [I will not agree for you to give me a bath].<\/p>\n\n\n\n karudhi uRaiginRa<\/strong> \u2013 desiring this mountain more than nithya vibhUthi [SrI vaikuNtam] as his abode for residing. Just as it has been mentioned in thiruvAimozhi 10.7.4<\/a> \u201cnangaL kunRam kaividAn<\/em>\u201d (emperumAn will not abandon this mountain, which is enjoyable for people like us), residing permanently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n kArkkadal vaNNan ammAn thannai<\/strong> \u2013 the lord, who is having the divine complexion of a dark ocean, which removes the ennui of beholders<\/p>\n\n\n\n viradham \u2026<\/strong> – mercifully composed by periyAzhwAr, in SrI villibuththUr, who has the vratham<\/em> (vow) of carrying out mangaLASAsanam, which is the manifestation of his servitorship.
