In the earlier thirumozhi<\/em> (divine verses seen in 2.10 decad<\/a>), the young girls in thiruvAyppAdi [SrI gOkulam], who were engaging with krishNa in his mischievous activities, which he carried out with them, complained to yaSOdhAp pirAtti about the ways in which they were harmed by him. Taking over their pathos, AzhwAr too spoke in a similar way and experienced krishNa\u2019s divine activities. yaSOdhAp pirAtti had called out to krishNa [earlier] on many occasions to come to her for taking her milk, and had also nursed him. Looking at his young age and his activities which were incongruous with his age and which were beyond the capabilities of human species [in which he has incarnated], she avoided considering him as her son. She thought of him as \u201cOne who is beyond her control, and who is sarvESvaran, who cannot be prevented by anyone\u201d. She narrated those incidents about him and told him through many pAsurams \u201cI am afraid to give you milk\u201d. Taking over her pathos, AzhwAr too speaks just like yaSOdhAp pirAtti did, experiencing the same flavour, in this thirumozhi<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

thiruvAimozhip piLLai, in his svApadhESam, says that in the earlier thirumozhi<\/em>, when the young girls complained \u201cHe had thrown mud on us\u201d, \u201cHe had gone to the top of the trees which were reaching to the sky\u201d, \u201cHe jumped on top of the spread hoods of kALiyan snake\u201d etc and that they will perish that day itself, AzhwAr, hoping to prevent krishNa from carrying out mischievous acts, said that krishNa, as the controller, would help them out just as he had helped his followers. While he tried to prevent krishNa from carrying out mischievous activities, since krishNa continued to indulge in such activities, with worry in his mind, taking over the pathos of yaSOdhAp pirAtti, AzhwAr goes behind krishNa and composes pAsurams, with the words and pathos of yaSOdhAp pirAtti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
