As said in \u2018<em>EkAm dharaNimAchrithau <\/em>[yudhdha kAntam 5.10]\u2019 (we are in the same earth)\u2019, you are having the fortune to be born in the world where thirumazhisaip pirAn incarnated.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>ERRam indhath thaiyil magaththukkuch chARRuginREn \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>What? Only <strong>mAsi<\/strong> (magha) magam (magha) is considered the grand star day; what is great about <strong>thai<\/strong> (pausa) magam (magha)? If you asked so, then listen to me as I explain its greatness for it to become popular in the whole world.<\/p>\n<p>Saying that these are the greatness, by showing the following \u2013<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thuyya madhi peRRa, etc <\/em><\/strong> &#8211; that is, having pure\/virtuous knowledge by the grace of <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sarvEsvaran<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> got unblemished knowledge (<em>mayarvaRa mathi nalam<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-1-1-1-uyarvara-uyarnalam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozi 1.1.1<\/a>]), <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> the head of the place <a href=\"http:\/\/thirumazhisai.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumazhisai<\/a>, incarnated on this day &#8211; is so celebrated by the ascetics.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thuyya madhi \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>His knowledge (given by <a href=\"http:\/\/emperumAn-pirAtti - https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>) is enjoyed by himself too, as <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> says \u2018<em>en madhikku viNNellAm uNdO vilai <\/em>[nAnmugan thiruvanthAdhi \u2013 51]\u2019 (is there any price for my knowledge?)<\/p>\n<p>Purity of mind is \u2013 Not having the blemish of mind that considers other demi gods as superior\/desired. This is said in \u2018<em>mananaga malam aRak kazhuvi<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/07\/thiruvaimozhi-1-3-8-nalum-ninradu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi 1.3.8<\/a>]\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/thirumazhisai_azhwar_thirumazhisai.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3050\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3050\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/thirumazhisai_azhwar_thirumazhisai.jpg\" alt=\"thirumazhisai_azhwar_thirumazhisai\" width=\"357\" height=\"476\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/thirumazhisai_azhwar_thirumazhisai.jpg 720w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/thirumazhisai_azhwar_thirumazhisai-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 357px) 100vw, 357px\" \/><\/a><em>thirimazhisai AzhvAr at thirumazhisai<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This is said very clearly by <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumazhisai AzhvAr<\/a> in various of his pAsurams such as the following.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>thAdhulAvu konRai mAlai thunnu senchadaich chivan nIdhiyAl vaNangu pAdha<\/em> [thiruchchanda viruththam \u2013 9]\u2019 (One wearing konRai flowers, and having dense red hairlocks that is rudhran would properly prostrate &#8211; Oh you (emperumAn) having such divine feet!)<\/p>\n<p>From \u2018<em>pOdhil mangai bhUthalak kizhaththi dhEvi<\/em>\u2019 to \u2018<em>vEdha nUl OdhuginRadhu uNmai alladhu illai maRRu uraikkilE<\/em>\u2019 [thiruchchandha viruththam 72 to 88], (~ srIdhEVi and bhUdhEvi are your consorts; the son from his lotus nAbhi is His son; one having half his body as the woman and having bull as his vehicle is emperumAn&#8217;s grandson; saying about this (parathvam) in any other way is falsity),<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>uLLa nOygaL thIr marundhu vAnavarkku aLiththa em vaLLalArai anRi maRRor dheivam nAn madhippanE <\/em>[thiruchchandha viruththam &#8211; 88]\u00a0 (Instead of the most generous emperumAn who gave nectar to the dhEvas to cure their problems, would I consider the other demi-gods as anything worthy?)<\/p>\n<p>Starting with \u2018<em>pAr migundha<\/em>\u2019\u00a0 &#8211; to &#8211; \u2018<em>seer migundha ninnalAl Or dheivam nAn madhippanE<\/em> [thiruchchandha viruththam &#8211; 89]\u2019, (Instead of you (emperumAn) who performed so many wonders to get pANdavas win over the dhuryOdhanA&#8217;s group, would I go to any demi-gods?)<\/p>\n<p>Starting from \u2018<em>nAnmuganai nArAyaNan padaiththAn nAnmuganum thAn mugamAi sankaranaith thAn padaiththAn<\/em>\u2019 &#8211; to &#8211; \u2018<em>pidhiru manamilEn pingyakan thannOdu edhirvan avan enakku nErAn<\/em>\u2019 [nAnmugan thiruvanthAdhi 1 to 84], (nArAyaNan created brahmA, and he in turn created Sankara (shows that emperumAn is the god who is the root of all creations), (I do not have the mind that sickens by going into worldly matters; even though I may be equal in knowledge to paramaSivan, he would not equal me as I am forever a servant of emperumAn)<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>kallAdhavar ilangai kattazhiththa kAkuththan allAl oru dheivam yAnilEn<\/em> [nAnmugan thiruvanthAdhi \u2013 53],\u00a0 (He who destroyed lankApuri that was inhabited by the ignorant\/bad rAkshasas, that is srI rAman &#8211; I would not consider any one other than Him as a god)<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>ini aRindhEn eesarkkum nAnmugarkkum dheivam ini aRindhEn emperumAn unnai<\/em> [nAnmugan thiruvanthAdhi \u2013 96], (I have understood very clearly now (<em>ini aRindhEn ini aRindhEn<\/em>), that you are the god of brahmA and rudhran)<\/p>\n<p>and so in all his prabandhams, in the start, middle\/in-between, and in the end (which signifies that it is important), without any hesitation, like <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> is referred to as \u2018<em>uRaiyil idAdhavar<\/em>\u2019 (not putting the sword back in its holder, that is, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> does not mince his words), he has clearly divined to us what is important and what is not, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>mazhisaip pirAn piRandha nAL enRu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>in this way <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> is having divine knowledge; such is his birth \u2013 two births in one (after getting the true knowledge is the new birth).<\/p>\n<p><strong>nAl thavargaL koNdAdum nAL &#8211; <\/strong>Since this AzhAr is son of a rishi, he (<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">maNavALa mAmunigaL<\/a>) is saying \u2018day that good sages\/ascetics celebrate\u2019, as <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s birth day.<\/p>\n<p>Birth of others is like \u2018<em>anRu nAn piRandhilEn<\/em> [thiruchchandha viruththam \u2013 64]\u2019 (that physical birth of me was not the real birth (since did not gain true knowledge)).<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>piRandha pin maRandhilEn <\/em>[thiruchchandha viruththam \u2013 64]\u2019 is how this <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/16\/thirumazhisai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s divine birth is which is when getting true knowledge of our relationship with <a href=\"http:\/\/emperumAn-pirAtti - https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a> &#8211; after that have not forgetten about it)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>piRandha nAL enRu \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>That day is such that it would be celebrated with prapaththi (surrender) by those who have gained the true knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>(thavam -&gt; surrendering to <a href=\"http:\/\/emperumAn-pirAtti - https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>; nal thavam (good thavam) -&gt; subservient to his devotees.)<\/p>\n<p>thavam -&gt; prapaththi.
