day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">srI thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s incarnation day that is mArgazhi (mArgashIrsha) month\u2019s kEttai (jyEshta) star day, is the day celebrated by parama vaidhikas (those who are expert followers of vEdhas), so advises <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">maNavALa mAmunigaL<\/a> to others.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>manniya seer, etc \u2013 <\/em><\/strong> Fullness of glory for the month of mArgazhi is \u2013 \u2018<em>mAsAnAm mArgaseershOham <\/em>[<a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">bhagavath gIthA<\/a> \u2013 10.35]\u2019 (In the months, I am the mArgazhi), so it is a vaishNava month, \u2018<em>mArgazhith thingaL madhi niRaindha nannAL<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2014\/12\/thiruppavai-01-margazhi-thingal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruppAvai \u2013 1<\/a>]\u2019, that is having the greatness of <a href=\"http:\/\/ponnadi.blogspot.in\/2012\/10\/archavathara-anubhavam-andal-anubhavam.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ANdAL<\/a>\u2019s incarnation in that month, also thiru adhyayana uthsavam starts during this month.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, through the prabandham of \u2018<em><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2014\/12\/thiruppalliyezhuchchi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruppaLLiyezhuchchi<\/a><\/em>\u2019, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> wakes up <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">periya perumAL<\/a>, so this <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s incarnation is the greatness <em>for<\/em> this month.<\/p>\n<p>Also, <strong><em>manniya seer<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>this month is like an adjective to his star day kEttai, like how that month is the best of months, this could be said as, the best of star days is kEttai.<\/p>\n<p>Like said as \u2018<em>viprANAm gyAnathOsrEshtam\u2019 <\/em>(best in knowledge, among the brAmhaNa), <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> who is having the glory of gyAnam (knowledge) being incarnated in this month\/day is the glory for this month\/day.<\/p>\n<p>Since <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> is absolutely glorious as a thoNdaradippodi (~ devoted to His devotees), his incarnation day also would be glorious isn\u2019t it? Like so the day that helps be among <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a> and his devotees is this wonderful day!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>mAnilaththIr<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>Since <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> whose identity is subservience to His devotees, due to his incarnation this earth is having such connection; Oh those who are in such earth!<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>en idhanukku ERRam enil uraikkEn \u2013<\/em> <\/strong>If you asked, \u2018When there are other star days in this month, what is the greatness of this star day?\u2019, then listen to me explaining about that as I have known about its greatness.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thunnu pugazh mAmaRaiyOn \u2013 etc. \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>That is, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he<\/a> is having the greatness of \u2018<em>thuLapath thoNdAya thol seer<\/em> [thirumAlai &#8211; 45]\u2019 (~ greatness\/subservience of making thiruththuzhAi (thuLasi) garland (for <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>)), and \u2018<em>kaRRinam mEyththa endhai kazhaliNaikkeezh \u2013 uRRa thirumAlai pAdum seer <\/em>[thirumAlai thaniyan]\u2019 (~ being able to create\/sing about\/under divine feet of my father that is <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a> who herded the cows) \u2013 having immersed in such character due to doing these kainkaryams.<\/p>\n<p>This <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a> is \u2018<em>mikka seerth thoNdar<\/em> [periya thirumozhi 11.1.9]<em>\u2019 <\/em> (~ a srIvaishNava, ananyaprayOjanar (not asking for anything else from <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>)<em>, <\/em>isn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>Also he makes \u2018<em>seyyum pasum thuLabath thozhil mAlai<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/11\/ramanusa-nurranthadhi-13\/\">rAmAnusa nURRanthAdhi \u2013 13<\/a>]\u2019 (makes garland of thiruththuzhAi that becomes bright by the touch of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s hand), isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n<p>This is how his \u2018<em>aham sarvam karishyAmi&#8217;<\/em> is. [ayOdhyA kAntam 31-25]\u2019 (iLaiya perumAL saying, \u2018I will do every kainkaryam (in the forest)). It is this that is his rich glory. It is same as said in \u2018<em>mali pugazh vAnavar<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> 4.2.11]\u2019 (rich glory of nithyasUris).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>mAmaRaiyOn <\/em><\/strong>&#8211; Reason for all this is that he is distinguished among the brAhmaNas who are involved in finding the meanings of vEdhas. As said in \u2018<em>vaidhikarE, meyppadiyAl un thiruvadich chUdum thagaimaiyinAr<\/em> [thiruviruththam \u2013 94]\u2019 (vaidhikAs are by true ways keep your divine feet in their head), since he is a great vaidhika and is having tenacity\/devotion in kainkaryam. It is this that is his well established glory.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>mAmaRaiyOn, thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr \u2013 <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">He<\/a> got this name because the inner meaning of vEdhas, that is, being subservient to His devotees as said in \u2018<em>mikka vEdhiyar vEdhaththin ut poruL <\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/02\/kanninun-chiruth-thambu-9-mikka-vedhiyar\/\">kaNNinuNchiruththAmbu \u2013 9<\/a>]\u2019. This is the way in which he affectionately lives by.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>nambikku anbar thalai meedhu adippodi <\/em>[AchArya hrudhayam \u2013 153]\u2019 (dust of the feet of devotees on his head), is how the glory of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">him<\/a> who does according to what the devotees wish him to do (<em>itta vazhakku).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>AzhvAr piRappAl<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>It is his birth that is a (distinguished) birth; birth of rest are lowly only (due to karma?).
