Come here<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Simple Translation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These herd-boys are wearing diamond ear rings, which have a good complexion, such that their long ears come down to their shoulders. They listen to their mothers and have good qualities. Oh, one who is easy to approach! You desire to join with these herd-boys, but you aren\u2019t listening to my words. If you don these two ear-rings which match each other in their beauty, I will give you sweet jack fruit which you like, as well as my beautiful bosoms which have light-coloured spots, to consume milk from. Oh, one who is the benefactor! I am worshipping you. Come here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>vaNam \u2026<\/strong> &#8211; Despite praying to him like this, since krishNa did not come, yaSOdhAp pirAtti wonders \u201cWill he come if I tell him these?\u201d She tells him that these cow-herd boys are wearing diamond ear-rings, which have a good complexion, such that their long ears come down to their shoulders. They listen to their mothers et al and remain with good qualities. Should you too not be like them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>gOvindhA! nI solluk koLLAy<\/strong> \u2013 you, having the name <em>gOvindha <\/em>in order to reflect your easy approachability, are not listening to my words. krishNa asks her \u201cIf I wear these ear rings listening to your words, what will you give me?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>iNai nanRu azhagiya ikkadippu ittAl<\/strong> \u2013 If you wear these ear-rings, which match each other in their beauty and appear beautiful \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>iniya palAp pazham thandhu<\/strong> \u2013 I will give you jack fruit, which you like<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>suNa nanRu aNi mulai uNNath tharuvan nAn<\/strong> \u2013 I will give you my beautiful bosoms, which have light spots on them, for you to consume milk from. <em>suNangu<\/em> \u2013 the light-coloured spots which appear over the bosoms. <em>nanRu<\/em> \u2013 remaining soft; <em>aNi<\/em> \u2013 distinction, due to the location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>sOththam pirAn ingE vArAy<\/strong> \u2013 Since he did not come, despite telling him all these, yaSOdhAp pirAtti now tells him \u201cOh, pirAn! I am offering you anjali [cupping the palms together] with my hands. You should come now\u201d.
