periyAzhwAr thirumozhi<\/a> >> First Centum<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Previous<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n In the earlier thirumozhi [divine verse] [1.5 \u2013 uyya ulagu], yaSOdhAp pirAtti had prayed for and enjoyed krishNa\u2019s activity, as a child, when he performed sengIrai<\/em>, during the time of his incarnation. AzhwAr, having been granted knowledge and devotion, without any trace of ignorance, and having her affection for krishNa, was also able to enjoy his activity, at the same time that she did. Now, just as she had prayed to krishNa for performing another activity, as a child, of chappANi kottudhal<\/em> [clapping his hands], and enjoyed the flavour of his activity, AzhwAr too, not being satiated with witnessing one activity of his [performing sengIrai<\/em>], due to his overflowing affection, desires to enjoy the flavour of his chappANi kottudhal<\/em>. He enjoys that activity, just as she had enjoyed with her, words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n thiruvAimozhip piLLai, in his svApadhESam says: In the earlier thirumozhi, AzhwAr had made krishNa to become tired, by telling him \u201cYou should dance; you should dance\u201d. The purpose of this was to make samsAris [those who inhabit materialistic realm] to perform activities which are mentioned in SAsthrams [sacred texts], to the extent possible for them and to carry out servitude to emperumAn, just as he [krishNa] had done when he incarnated as a samsAri.
