That is, about the glories of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/azhwars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvArs<\/a>, the glories of <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aruLichcheyal (prabandhams)<\/a>, the glories of those who spread about them\/these, that is, the <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a>, and the glories of the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vyAkyAnams<\/a> divined by those <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a>, are what this prabandham (upadhEsa raththinamAlai) shows us. So this pAsuram can be considered as \u2018<em>uLLathukkellAm churukkAi<\/em> [upadhEsa raththina mAlai 19]\u2019, that is, it can be said that the summary of this prabandham is this pAsuram.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Azhvars.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5569\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Azhvars.gif\" alt=\"Azhvars\" width=\"900\" height=\"236\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/srivaishna-guruparamparai.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-133\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/srivaishna-guruparamparai.jpg\" alt=\"srivaishna-guruparamparai\" width=\"827\" height=\"569\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/srivaishna-guruparamparai.jpg 827w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/srivaishna-guruparamparai-300x206.jpg 300w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/srivaishna-guruparamparai-768x528.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 827px) 100vw, 827px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>AzhvArgaL vAzhi \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>they are \u2013 after getting \u2018<em>mayarvaRa madhi nalam<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-1-1-1-uyarvara-uyarnalam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi 1.1.1<\/a>]\u2019, they are being \u2018<em>theruLuRRa AzhvArgaL <\/em>[upadhEsa raththina mAlai 36]\u2019, (<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/azhwars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvArs<\/a> having divine knowledge), that is <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/nammazhwar-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nammAzhvar<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a> et al. For such noble ones, he is doing mangaLAsAsanam to avoid the touch of blemishes of the birth, and for them to live well forever; singing pallANdu to the ones who are earnest in singing pallANdu, is the work of mahAmunis; he is too maNavALa<em>mAmuni<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>vAzhi satakOpan, vAzhi parakAlan<\/em> [iyal sARRu]\u2019 is how those who love these <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/azhwars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvArs<\/a> would say.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>aruLichcheyal vAzhi <\/em> &#8211; <\/strong>aruLichcheyal are \u2013 by the grace of <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sarvEsavaran<\/a> to them, they showed grace\/mercy and divined the ones that can be the identity for the four vEdhas and their angams (subs); that is <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> and other <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prabandhams<\/a>. He is doing mangaLAsAsanam that these distinguished <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prabandhams<\/a> should continue in vogue forever without having shortcomings of place, time, or author.<\/p>\n<p>Would say, \u2018<em>vAzhi satakOpan ittath thamizhp pAvisai <\/em>[iyal sARRu]\u2019 (lovely thamizh pAsuram of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">satakOpan<\/a> shall live forever), and \u2018<em>vAzhi parakAlan eNNil thamizhp pAvisai<\/em> [iyal sARRu]\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thAzhvAdhum il kuravar<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em> &#8211; <\/em><\/strong>Next, since those who are always discussing and thinking about the meanings of these (<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prabandhams<\/a>), that is the <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a>, are also to be blessed, so he is doing mangaLAsAsanam to them; the <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a> are \u2013 \u2018<em>aruL peRRa nAthamuni<\/em> <em>mudhalAna nam dhEsikar<\/em>[36]\u2019, that is, our <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Acharyas<\/a> starting from <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/22\/nathamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nAthamuni<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/01\/alavandhar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">yAmunAchAryar<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ethirAjar<\/a>; now by \u2018<em>thAzhvAdhum il\u2019, <\/em>that is, not having any deficiency, means, being enthusiastic\/interested in <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a> only. Deficiency is, spending time in kAvyam (other stories), listening to the speeches which are not in any way about <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>, etc. Not having that (deficiency) is, spending time only in purANas, etc., that involve <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bhagavAn<\/a>\u2019s glories. By \u2018<em>Adhumil<\/em>\u2019 it means, as said in \u2018<em>theedhil anthAdhi<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/thiruvaimozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thiruvAimozhi<\/a> 8.2.11]\u2019, (pAsuram that does not have anything bad), not contains any other stories but only interested in talking about <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bhagavAn<\/a> \u2013 such is the aruLichcheyal (<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dhivya prabandhams<\/a>) \u2013 them spending time only in that, and considering it as the only benefit for us;<\/p>\n<p>In the vyAkyAnam of periya thirumozhi 5.8.7, when explaining the word \u2018<em>oruvan<\/em>\u2019 (~the unique person) \u2013 it says: \u2018<em>muRpada dhvayaththaik kaRRu, pOdhu pOkkum aruLich cheyalilEyAy, (nam)piLLaiyaip pOlE iruppAn oruvan<\/em>\u2019 (~ (he) learned dhvayam\u2019s meanings, and is spending time in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dhivya prabandhams<\/a>, a glorious person like <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nampillai\/\">nampiLLai<\/a>);<\/p>\n<p>seeing such AchArya\u2019s vaibhavam, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mAmunigaL<\/a> understanding their greatness is the person doing mangaLAsAsanam to them, like \u2018<em>indaLaththilE thAmarai pUththAr pole indha vibhUthiyil ivargaL silarE\u2019 <\/em>(like a lotus blossoming in an incense stand (hot\/dry?), in a world like this, these (<a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a>) have incarnated!).<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<em>vAzhi ethirAsan<\/em> [Arththi prabandham \u2013 1]<em>\u2019<\/em>, and \u2018<em>vAzhi ulagAsiriyan<\/em> [<a href=\"http:\/\/ponnadi.blogspot.in\/2013\/10\/aippasi-anubhavam-pillai-lokacharyar-mumukshuppadi.html\">mumukshuppadi<\/a> thaniyan]\u2019 (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/18\/pillai-lokacharyar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">piLLai lOkAchAryar<\/a> shall live forever), are the ways of <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">maNavALa mAmunigaL<\/a>\u2019s words.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Ezh pArum uyya avargaL uraiththavaigaL thAm vAzhi <\/em><\/strong>\u2013 that is, the <a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryAs<\/a>\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vyAkyAnams<\/a> are such that they would help the people of this world of seven parts surrounded on both sides by water, to reach the goal; as said in \u2018<em>ulagu uyya umbargaLum kEttuyya <\/em>[iyal sARRu], their vyAkyAnam helps all the worlds.<\/p>\n<p>When doing that,<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>seyya maRai thannudanE sErndhu<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 dhEvareers (all your highness) who are well versed in all the sAsthram, created the <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">vyAkyAnams<\/a> whose greatness is such that all its meanings are given based on the sAsthram.
