Those who are capable of reciting these, in any manner, will not have any sorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>maiththadam kaNNai<\/strong> \u2013 yaSOdhAp pirAtti, who has black, large eyes. Her eyes have become large due to application of black pigment. Alternatively, since she keeps looking at krishNa, who is dark, constantly, her eyes have become black. The eyes have become large since they expand with affection for him. thiruvAimozhip piLLai, in his svApadhESam, says that speaking about her eyes is indicative of her overall decoration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>than \u2026<\/strong> &#8211; saying these, which are consistent between krishNa\u2019s thoughts and words, to him. about chandhran who manifests both softness and toughness. thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that having assured krishNa that she will get him chandhran, though getting chandhran is impossible for her, she kept calling him to come, in every pAsuram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>oLi \u2026<\/strong> &#8211; SrI villibuththUr is such a noble place that if one steps on to that land, he would get knowledge and love towards emperumAn. periyAzhwAr, who incarnated in that place and who is an expert in carrying out mangaLASAsanam to emperumAn, composed these ten pAsurams in thamizh language, in a detailed manner. There will be no sorrow to anyone who is able to recite these pAsurams in some manner or the other. thiruvAimozhip piLLai says here that nAchchiyAr [ANdAL] thirumALigai [divine house] is called as SrI villibuththUr. <em>viththagan<\/em> \u2013 <em>samarththan<\/em> (one who is skilful or is capable). Even before he was showered with knowledge and devotion, without any trace of doubt, by emperumAn, AzhwAr was carrying out <em>pushpa kainkaryam<\/em> (offering garland to emperumAn) by nurturing a garden, plucking divine thuLasi and stringing garlands. Thus, he was skilful always. Alternatively, he had desire in his divine mind, for carrying out mangaLASAsanam. <em>vittuchiththan<\/em> \u2013 his standing was such that he was always in the divine mind of <em>vataperum kOyil udaiyAn<\/em> [the divine name of emperumAn in SrI villibuththUr]. Alternatively, just as he had mercifully said in periyAzhwAr thirumozhi 5-4-11 \u201c<em>aravaththu amaLiyinOdum\u2026<\/em>\u201d (with the divine mattress of AdhiSEshan \u2026), emperumAn was constantly in AzhwAr\u2019s divine mind. <em>viriththa thamizh ivai<\/em> \u2013 considering the pAsurams of yaSOdhAp pirAtti as a pretext, he explained the meanings of SAsthrams (sacred texts) to carry out mangaLASAsanam to emperumAn. Mercifully composing them in thamizh was due to his mercy [so that we could understand the meanings of sacred texts]. <em>eththanaiyum solla vallavarkku<\/em> \u2013 people may have distress that they have not been able to recite vEdha SAsthrams and understand their meanings.
