He indulges in activities such as playing in that dirt, asking for chandhran, remembering that yaSOdhAp pirAtti had told him that. AzhwAr mercifully recounts these activities in this pAsuram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>than mugaththuch chutti thUngath thUngath thavazhndhu pOy<\/em><br><em>pon mugak kiNkiNi Arppap puzhudhi aLaiginRAn<\/em><br><em>en magan gOvindhan kUththinai iLamAmadhi<\/em>!<br><em>nin mugam kaN uLavAgil nI ingE nOkkippO<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Word-by-Word Meanings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>than mugaththau<\/em> \u2013 on his face (shining)<br><em>chutti<\/em> \u2013 ornament <em>chutti<\/em> [worn from head, hanging on the divine forehead]<br><em>thUngath thUnga<\/em> \u2013 swaying many times over<br><em>pon mugam<\/em> \u2013 having a beautiful face<br><em>kiNkiNi<\/em> \u2013 chain on the divine waist<br><em>Arppa<\/em> \u2013 to make a sound [like <em>kaNa kaNa]<\/em><br><em>thavazhndhu pOy<\/em> \u2013 crawling<br><em>puzhudhi<\/em> \u2013 dirt on the floor<br><em>aLaiginRAn<\/em> \u2013 he is playing with<br><em>en magan<\/em> \u2013 my son<br><em>gOvindhan<\/em> \u2013 gOvindhan\u2019s<br><em>kUththinai<\/em> \u2013 beautiful activities<br><em>mA<\/em> \u2013 to a great extent<br><em>iLam<\/em> \u2013 being youthful<br><em>madhI<\/em>! \u2013 oh, chandhran!<br><em>nin mugam<\/em> \u2013 on your face<br><em>kaN<\/em> \u2013 eyes<br><em>uLa Agil<\/em> \u2013 if they are present<br><em>nI ingE nOkkip pO<\/em> \u2013 look here and proceed<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Simple Translation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>krishNa is crawling, with the ornament on his face, <em>chutti<\/em>, swaying from side to side, repeatedly and the chain on the divine waist making a sound. He is playing with dirt on the floor. Oh chandhran, who is youthful! If you have eyes on your face, look in this direction, at the activities of my son, gOvindhan, before proceeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>than mugam \u2026<\/strong> &#8211; krishNa\u2019s divine face, even without any decoration is such that people will have to perform <em>Alaththi<\/em> to ward off evil eyes [<em>Alaththi<\/em> is a practice, performed to ward off evil eyes]. A beautiful ornament, <em>chutti<\/em>, is hanging on his forehead, with one end tied to his divine hair. As he crawls, the ornament, due to the movement of the hair on his head, is swaying repeatedly. The ornament, tied to his waist and hanging up to his divine ankles, is making a noise. With all these, he is playing with dirt [in the courtyard]. <em>pon mugak kiNkiNi<\/em> could also refer to the anklets, adorned on the divine ankles. When he crawls, these would be lot of making noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>thiruvAimozhip piLLai, in his svApadhESam, says that with the <em>chutti<\/em> swaying on his forehead, and the <em>kiNkiNi<\/em> adorned on the divine waist making a noise as krishNa crawls, seeing krishNa playing with mud, yaSOdhAp pirAtti, feeling affectionate towards him, tells chandhran to look at this, if he had been provided with eyes on his face. Since chandhran is not looking in krishNa\u2019s direction, she says that he is not looking because of his childishness. Just as it has been said in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2017\/11\/thiruvaimozhi-6-2-8-pinakki-yavaiyum\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"18459\">thiruvAimozhi 6-2-8<\/a> \u201d<em>kadhir gyAna mUrththiyanAy<\/em>\u201d (Oh, one who has your form, the knowledge of carrying out your will!) and in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2017\/11\/thiruvaimozhi-6-2-5-kazharel-nambi\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"18366\">thiruvAimozhi 6-2-5<\/a> \u201c<em>unakku onRu uNarththuvan nAn<\/em>\u201d (I wish to tell you something; please listen), since the knowledge available both in <em>nithya vibhUthi<\/em> (spiritualistic realm) and in <em>thrithIyA vibhUthi<\/em> (a third divine abode) are under his [periyAzhwAr\u2019s] control, he is calling that and indicating that to krishNa. The term \u201ccalling here\u201d refers to the activities taking place there, which he is able to see in his divine mind, and informing that to krishNa. Alternatively, this would refer to the activities indulged in by krishNa, true to his having incarnated in human species, which AzhwAr celebrates through his pAsurams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>en magan \u2026<\/strong> &#8211; the activity of my son, gOvindhan, which steals the mind<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>iLa mA madhi<\/strong> \u2013 Oh, ignorant chandhran, who, instead of stopping in order to see these divine activities, are proceeding on your journey!
