Little krishNa ate the ghee from each vessel. Fearing that she would lose her child if he ate so much of ghee, in order to warn him, yaSOdhAp pirAtti caught hold of his divine arm, pulled him, and raised an old rope [which was used for making butter by churning the staff with it], as if to strike him with that rope. krishNa crawled away from her, out of fear for her. Looking at him crawl like that, yaSOdhAp pirAtti called her friends, whose bosoms were like buds, to come and have a look at his divine knees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n vyAkhyAnam (Commentary)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n uzhandhAL<\/strong> \u2013 yaSOdhAp pirAtti had taken lot of efforts to get the ghee \u2013 she had to milk the cows, then heat the milk and set it to become curd; then she had to churn the curd, in order to get butter from it. She then had to heat the butter and convert it into ghee. Thus, she had to take plenty of efforts in order to get each vessel of ghee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n naRu ney oRo thadA uNNa<\/strong> \u2013 krishNa ate the fragrant ghee from one pot after another, without leaving anything behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n erivinAl Irththu<\/strong> \u2013 out of fear whether the little infant would be able to digest all the ghee which he had eaten, she pulled him roughly, with anger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ezhil maththin pazham thAmbAl Ochcha<\/strong> \u2013 she tried to hit him with an old rope which was coiled around a beautiful churning staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n payaththAl thavazhndhAn<\/strong> \u2013 out of fear that she would hit him, little krishNa crawled away from her, to escape from her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n muzhandhAL irundhavA kANIrE<\/strong> \u2013 she is beckoning her friends to look at his beautiful, divine knees as he crawled away from her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n mugizh mulaiyIr vandhu kANIrE<\/strong> \u2013 Oh ladies who have bosoms which are like buds! Come and have a look at his divine knees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In his svApadhESam, thiruvAimozhip piLLai says that their bosoms indicate devotion.
