I don’t desire to be present in this samsAram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n kAdhal … <\/strong>– Young girls engage in love – the women having attachment, give union which is filled with sorrow. As I meditate upon the karma which leads to that, I become fearful; hence, I surrender unto your divine feet which lets us escape such dangers. Isn’t that union filled with sorrow? If one sets out to enjoy such love, a) it does not let him become satisfied one day, b) it makes one lose one’s masculinity, c) it makes one hang his head in shame in front of others, d) eventually it will lead to narakam (hell). When I think about the karma which is the cause for such union which causes svarUpa hAni (damage to true nature), it makes me fearful; hence, I will approach and surrennder unto the divine feet which will let me step on the heads of yama et al, even after roaming around anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n pOdhalar nedumudip puNNiyanE<\/strong> – Oh one who is having the purity of eliminating my desire towards other matters by showing your presence with the garland, decorated around your divine crown!
