Since you cannot get that divine thuLasi garland here, carry me to the banyan tree, called as <em>pANdIram<\/em>, where balarAman destroyed the monster <em>pralambAsuran<\/em> in such a way that the monster\u2019s bones were deformed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>vyAkyAnam (Commentary)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>vaNNam thirivum<\/strong> \u2013 becoming pale in complexion due to separation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>manam kuzhaivum<\/strong> \u2013 the tiredness of heart, which normally doesn\u2019t get tired because it has got something or it has lost something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>mAnam ilAmaiyum<\/strong> \u2013 losing shame which is part of the primary qualities of ladies, <em>achcham<\/em> (fear), <em>madam<\/em> (simplicity), <em>nANam<\/em> (shyness) and <em>payirppu<\/em> (modesty) which will normally never be lost, irrespective of whatever may happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>vAy veLuppum<\/strong> \u2013 just as she had said in <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2024\/06\/nachchiyar-thirumozhi-1-8\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"53275\">nAchchiyAr thirumozhi 1-8<\/a> \u201c<em>vAyppuRam veLuththu<\/em>\u201d (her lips, which are always reddish due to chewing betel leaves constantly, have now become pale since she has stopped using such materials of enjoyment, in separation)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>uNNal uRAmaiyum<\/strong> \u2013 Since kaNNan is the food that she takes, the water that she drinks and the betel leaves which she enjoys, she is unable to sustain herself in separation from him. Since she is not able to eat anything, her physical form has become weak.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>uL melivum<\/strong> \u2013 Shrinking of knowledge, which is the reason for all these effects. The term <em>uL<\/em> refers to knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Odha nIr vaNNan enbAn oruvan<\/strong> \u2013 the divine physical form [of emperumAn\u2019s] which is the reason for all these changes in her. Just as the ocean invigorates those which see it, his physical form too removes the ennui of his followers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>oruvan<\/strong> \u2013 he is more eminent than all the others. [He is unique]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>thaN am thuzhAy ennum mAlai koNdu sUttath thaNiyum<\/strong> \u2013 just as he is more distinguished than all the others, this divine thuLasi garland too is more distinguished than the rest. If that garland, which has connection with his divine form, is applied on me, all these changes will get negated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>pilamban thannaip paNNazhiyap paladhEvan venRa pANdi vadaththu ennai uyththidumin<\/strong> \u2013 carry me to the place near that banyan tree, where kaNNapirAn\u2019s elder brother, balarAman, had destroyed the monster <em>pralambAsuran<\/em> such that his bone joints got disfigured completely, and where his victorious garland is still present, with which my changes will get reversed. Is it apt to call the victorious garland of balarAman\u2019s as kaNNapirAn\u2019s?
