Having friendly connection with <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a>, and who is our href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/azhwars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvArs<\/a>, as one gets the taste of samAsrayaNam after hearing about <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s kind help, and surrender to such subject, what could be done if rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a> who gave us dhivya prabandham regarding paththarAvi (perumAL) at <a href=\"http:\/\/thirukkannamangai.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirukkaNNamangai<\/a> dhivya dhEsam, to whom <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> is very dear, those who surrender to such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> would not get disturbed by href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a> said in \u201c<em>nin thanakkum kuRippAgil kaRkalAm kaviyin poruL thAnE<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/periya-thirumozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">periya thirumozhi<\/a> 7.10.10]<em>\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>thaN \u2013 <\/em>(cool\/comfortable) since the above is of great matter, all the distress would be removed when reciting it<br \/>\n<em>thamizh seydha<\/em> \u2013 which he kindly gave us in thamizh,<br \/>\n<em>neelan thanakku<\/em> \u2013 to such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a>;<br \/>\n<em>ulagil iniyAnai<\/em> \u2013 being beloved to such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a>, in this world;<br \/>\n<em>engaL<\/em> \u2013 our master<br \/>\n<em>irAmAnusanai<\/em> \u2013 that is, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>,<br \/>\n<em>vandhu eidhinar<\/em> \u2013 came and surrendered (to such master)<br \/>\n<em>thuyarangaL<\/em> \u2013 sorrows<br \/>\n<em>thuyarangaL<\/em> <em>mundhilum<\/em> \u2013 even if sorrows came competing with each other in excess,<br \/>\n<em>muniyAr<\/em> \u2013 they would not be vexed that these came;<br \/>\n<em>inbangaL<\/em> \u2013 pleasant and happy occurrences<br \/>\n<em>moiththidinum<\/em> \u2013 all came crowding as if this is their only work;<br \/>\n<em>manam kaniyAr<\/em> \u2013 would not think in their mind about them as ripe fruit (that everything has come together nicely).<\/p>\n<p>So the point is, you too do not fear thinking about the pleasantness and disturbances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kalai paravum \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>As said in <em>\u201csarvE vEdhA yath padham Amananthi<\/em> [katOpanishath 2.15] (the bhagavAn that all the vEdhas are reciting..)<em>\u201d<\/em>, and in \u201c<em>vEdhAksharANi yAvanthi pathithAni dhvijAthibi: | thAvanthi harinAmAni kIrththithAni na samsaya: || vEdhE rAmAyaNE puNyE bhArathE bharatharshaba | Adhau madhyE thathAnthEcha vishNus sarvathra gIyathE<\/em> [srImadh bhAgavatham 6.16.44 \/ mahAbhAratham \u2013 bhavishyath 132.95]<em>\u201d,<\/em> (The chanting of the letters of vEdhas by the brAhmins is the chanting of His names \/ vishNu is sung in all the parts like in the beginning, middle and end of vEdhas, srI rAmAyaNam, and bhAratham, Oh best of bharatha race\u201d), he is worshipped by all sruthi smruthi ithihAsa purANas;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thani yAnaiyai<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 As said in \u201cd<em>hyAvA pruthivI janayan dhEva Eka:\u201d<\/em> (He is only one who creates the heavens and earth)<em>, <\/em>and in \u201c<em>sayaschAyam purushE, yaschAsAvAdhithyE, sa Eka:<\/em>\u201d (He who is in a man is the same as in the sun), and in <em>\u201cdhivyOdhEva EkO nArAyaNa:\u201d<\/em>(there is only one divine dhEva, that is nArAyaNan),<\/p>\n<p><strong>w<\/strong>ith none like Him, like a wild elephant, with its majesty;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/thirukkannamangai_paththarAvip_perumAL_IMG-20141226-WA0034.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" Asaiyai amudham podhiyum suvaik karumbinaik kaniyaich chenRu nAdik kaNNamangaiyuL kaNdu koNdEnE<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/periya-thirumozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">periya thirumozhi<\/a> 7.10.1]<em>\u201d<\/em>(I have got the one who is like a collection of pearls that tempt us to make garland (prApyam \u2013 goal), he is the life of devotees, pearls kept in groups (prApakam, used as a means when in need), he is like a flower bud and blossomed (like yuvAkumara:), my heart\u2019s desire, sugar cane grown by pouring nectar (which may be considered as hard to eat (have) so&#8230;), is also like an easily eatable fruit, in <a href=\"http:\/\/thirukkannamangai.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirukkaNNamangai<\/a>), &#8211; about paththarAvip perumAL who is gracing <a href=\"http:\/\/thirukkannamangai.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirukkaNNamangai<\/a> showing how enjoyable he is that can be experienced by everyone;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thaN thamizh seydha \u2013<\/em><\/strong> As said in \u201c<em>nin thanakkum kuRippAgil kaRkalAm kaviyin poruL thAnE<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/periya-thirumozhi\/\">periya thirumozhi<\/a> 7.10.10]<em>\u201d <\/em>(~ <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai Azhvar<\/a> is saying to <a href=\"http:\/\/thirukkannamangai.koyil.org\/\">thirukkaNNamangai<\/a>p perumAn: if you wish to, you too can learn the meaning of this prabandham\/padhigam (these 10 pAsurams on you)), &#8211; can understand the gravity of venerability of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>\u2019s nature, form, qualities, and wealth (svarUpa, rUpa, guNa, vibhUthi), when one recites it (the prabandham) , as it would break the difficulties, and remove all the distress, that is, which he (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a>) gave us as dhramidOpanishath (thamizh), in the form of prabandham and blessed us (<em>prabandheekariththu aruLina<\/em> \/ \u0baa\u0bcd\u0bb0\u0baa\u0ba8\u0bcd\u0ba4\u0bc0\u0b95\u0bb0\u0bbf\u0ba4\u0bcd\u0ba4\u0bb0\u0bc1\u0bb3\u0bbf\u0ba9);<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>neelan thanakku<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>to such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a> himself said \u201c<em>kaNNamangaiyuL kaNdu koNdEn enRu kAdhalAl <strong>kaliyan<\/strong> urai seydha vaNNa oN thamizh<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/periya-thirumozhi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">periya thirumozhi<\/a> 7.10.10]<em>\u201d (<\/em>~ I said that I got him in <a href=\"http:\/\/thirukkannamangai.koyil.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kaNNamangai<\/a>, which is out of my love; that is me <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kaliyan<\/a>; and I said this in the colourful and beautiful language of thamizh);<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>ulagil iniyAnai<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>in this world, for all the devotees, he (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) is the most loved; (including for <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a mithram<\/em> [yathirAja vimsathi \u2013 3] (~ <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> is like a sun to the lotus that is the face of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">parakAlan (thirumangai AzhvAr)<\/a>; which blossoms when seeing <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>)\u201d. (Because <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> carried out the wishes of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a> (who built compound walls), by administering the <a href=\"http:\/\/acharya.org\/dd\/a\/srirangam.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">temple<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>engaL irAmAnusanai<\/em> <\/strong> &#8211; like he did for me, he has divined his incarnation to save everyone; to such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>..<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>vandhu eidhinarE<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>(they came and attained). As said in \u201c<em>srImAn Avira bhUthbhUmau rAmAnuja dhivAkara:\u201d<\/em> they understood his excellence and came (back) and joined him standing in queue.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>muniyAr thuyarangaL mundhilum<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 when sorrows come competing with each other to reach first and surround such people, they wouldn\u2019t feel sad, thinking Oh why have these come.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>inbangaL moyththidinum kaniyAr manam<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 (like bees fly around their food), even if lots of happiness, as if those happiness do not have any thing else to do but be with them, would surround such people, they would not feel elated about them considering them as obtaining ripe fruits like happiness; gIthAchAryan said too, <em>\u201cna prakrushyEth priyam prApya nOdhvijEth prApya cha apriyam<\/em> [<a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">bhagavath gIthA<\/a> \u2013 5.20]<em>\u201d<\/em> ((one whose mind is steadfastly fixed on brahmam) &#8211; neither rejoices at gaining what is pleasant, nor grieves on obtaining what is unpleasant); and <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyar.wordpress.com\/2012\/09\/25\/sri-vedanthachariar-vaibhavam\/\">abhiyukththar (vEdhAnthachAryar)<\/a> too said <em>\u201cmathana kathanai: naklishyanthE yathIsvara samsrayA:<\/em> [yathirAja sapthathi]<em>\u201d<\/em> (those who have reached <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> would not worry about good and bad things].<\/p>\n<p><strong>From AzhwAr thirunagari srI U.Ve. vidhwAn thirumalai nallAn chakravarththi rAmakrishNa iyengAr\u2019s \u2018amudha virundhu\u2019:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Happiness and sadness come and go, it is good that the karma is getting reduced, why get excited or become sad \u2013 is what <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s devotees think and stay firm.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/githa.koyil.org\/\">bhagavath gIthA<\/a> says that one should learn the truth about <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AthmA<\/a> from thathva gyAnis (learned and practicing ones who understand the truth about <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chith<\/a> (sentient), <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/09\/thathva-thrayam-achith-what-is-matter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">achith<\/a> (non-sentient), and <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Iswaran<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>)), and should try to attain that state, get rid of the illiteracy of thinking of the body as the Athma, stay firm in the comfort of reality of <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/06\/thathva-thrayam-chith-who-am-i\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AthmA<\/a>, and so not get excited or become sad about matters related to the unstable things of the world;<\/p>\n<p>those who surrendered to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> also learned the above truth from gyAnis, and so are focussed only on <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s divine feet and do not get excited or become sad about other things;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a> is like a proud elephant; but it is such that every one can see and enjoy; such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a> wanted to get deeper into the meanings of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s prabandham and tried to understand its meanings; <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/10\/05\/periyavachan-pillai-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">periyavAchchAn piLLai<\/a>\u2019s vyAkyAnam says as <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/23\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a> saying to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperuman<\/a>: \u201cif you are interested, then you are going to have to be my sishya and enrich your learning \u2013 such is the weight of the core matter of this prabandham\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;vandhu&#8217; eidhinar<\/strong> -&gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">amudhanAr<\/a> says devotees \u2018came\u2019 and joined <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>, instead of saying\u00a0 \u2018went\u2019 and joined, because he is always with <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>.\u00a0 (also, people had forgotten about the truth and their traditional ways and had gone away;
