In this pAsuram: (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/03\/26\/thiruvarangathu-amudhanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">amudhanAr<\/a>) had served first at the divine feet of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">periya perumAL<\/a>; in that <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">perumAL<\/a> this <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a> too was fully involved, and as said in \u201c<em>maRRum Or dheivam uNdE<\/em> [thirumAlai \u2013 9]\u201d (~there is no other perumAL), this <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a> did not seek any other perumAL, having such pAthivratham (chastity), that is, <strong>srI <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a> does not seek anything other than that <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s divine feet; {<a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/mamunigal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mAmunigaL<\/a> has included a \u2018srI\u2019 here to show the wealth of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a> that is kainkaryam}<br \/>\n<em>AdhariyA<\/em> \u2013 not seeking (other than <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/azhwars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvArs<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/guruparamparai.wordpress.com\/2012\/08\/17\/introduction-contd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AchAryas<\/a>)<br \/>\n<em>meyyan<\/em> \u2013 swAmi (master) of truth<br \/>\n<em>irAmAnusan<\/em> \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s<br \/>\ncharaNE \u2013 divine feet only<br \/>\nenakku vERu gathi \u2013 is specially my destiny\/goal.<\/p>\n<p>~~<br \/>\npeiyum \u2013 creating<br \/>\npErAdha \u2013 not separating.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>vyAkyAnam<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><em>seyyum pasum thuLavath thozhil mAlaiyum \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>The garland of thiruththuzhAi made by him in correct form such that it appears colourful, bright, and new (pudhukkaNippu) due to the touch of his hands, and be wondered by the followers who appreciate his kainkaryam as a garland of vaijayanthI vana mAlai (garland in\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">perumAn<\/a>\u2019s chest) or kalampagan mAlai; as he himself sang <em>\u201cthodai oththa thuLabamum kUdaiyum polindhu thOnRiya thOL thoNdaradippodi <\/em>[<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/01\/thiruppalliyezhuchchi-10-kadimalar\/\">thiruppaLLiyezhuchchi \u2013 10<\/a>]\u201d (~describing himself as one holding the basket of\u00a0 thiruththuzhAi), he can identify himself as such (as one making such garlands, as devotees of devotees);<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/emperumAnAr-thoNdaradippodi-AzhwAr.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4683\" src=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/emperumAnAr-thoNdaradippodi-AzhwAr.jpg\" alt=\"emperumAnAr-thoNdaradippodi AzhwAr\" width=\"514\" height=\"385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/emperumAnAr-thoNdaradippodi-AzhwAr.jpg 646w, https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/emperumAnAr-thoNdaradippodi-AzhwAr-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 514px) 100vw, 514px\" \/><\/a><em>emperumAnAr with thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>senthamizhil peyyum maRaith thamizh mAlaiyum<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>Unlike the great vEdhas that are only eligible for three varNas (sets of people), this (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s prabandham) is easily understood by lay persons and is eligible for everyone; uses words that are congruent and so removes any confusion; unlike (vedhAs that) give room for misunderstanding, this <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\">AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s prabandham helps understand the most accurate and truthful meaning that is written in well-describing thamizh, as if the prabandham can be called as vEdham by itself; such is this <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s prabandham that is a thamizh garland, called \u201cthirumAlai\u201d. Here <em>\u2018peyyum\u2019<\/em> is a key word, to mean \u2018to make (in a suitable\/natural way)\u2019 (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/01\/thiruppavai-27-kudarai-vellum\/\">mUda nei \u2018peidhu\u2019<\/a><\/em> in thiruppAvai).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>pErAdha sIr arangaththu aiyyan <\/em> &#8211; <\/strong>{about <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> of thiruvarangam} As said in \u201c<em>para asya sakthir vividhaiva srUyathE svAbhAvikI gyAna bala kriyA cha <\/em>[svEthashvathara Upanishath 6.8] (~the powers of paran (emperumAn) are supreme; his powers are revealed in many ways)\u201d, and in <em>\u201cyas sarvagya: sarva vith<\/em>\u201d(~he who knows everything, and understands everything), and in \u201c<em>nithya: sathya: nish kaLanka: niranjana: nir vikalpa: nirAkyAtha: sudhdha: dhEva Eka: nArAyaNa: <\/em>[nArAyaNa upanishath &#8211; 2]<em>\u201d<\/em> (~ever existing, true, no blemishes, holds all auspicious qualities, never changes, pure, etc., that is one lord, nArAyaNan), and in \u201c<em>IRila vaN pugazh nAraNan <\/em>[<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/05\/thiruvaimozhi-1-2-10-en-perukku\/\">thiruvAimozhi 1-2-10<\/a>]\u201d (boundless list of auspicious qualities), He possesses such qualities;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>(aiyyan)<\/em><\/strong> and as said in \u201c<em>mAthA pithA bhrAthA nivAsassh saraNam suhrudh gathi:\u201d <\/em>(~nArAyaNan is all the relationships), and in <em>\u201cpithAsilOkasya charAcharasya\u201d<\/em> (~you are the lord for everyone in the world), and in \u201c<em>pitha bhrAthA cha mathA cha mAdhava:\u201d<\/em> (mAdhavan is all the relationships), and in \u201c<em>thAyayth thanthaiyAy<\/em> [thiruvAimozhi 2-3-2, and 7-8-1]\u201d (~as a mother and father), and so on can be said about his all-pervading relationship with us, is the one in sleeping position in kOyil (thiruvarangam), that is periya perumAL. <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Azhvar<\/a> too in his prabandham said the same words \u2018<em>aiyanE aranganE<\/em> [thirumAlai \u2013 33]\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>arangaththu aiyyan<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong>emperumAn has got such an affinity to this place, that he identifies himself by the name of the place.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>pErAdha<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 never leaving.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>kazharkku aNiyum \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>to such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr<\/a> presented as a decoration to His divine feet<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>paran<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 to such <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a> who is qualified as the pinnacle of subservience to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a>, such that it can be said there is no body above such level; such <strong>srI <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr<\/a>;\u00a0 he too prayed to <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\">emperumAn<\/a> \u201c<em>thoNdaradippodi ennum adiyanai aLiyan enRu aruLi un adiyArkku AtpadhuththAi<\/em> [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2015\/01\/thiruppalliyezhuchchi-10-kadimalar\/\">thiruppaLLiyezhuchchi \u2013 10<\/a>]\u201d (~bear with this simpleton named thoNdaradippodi (dust of the divine feet of your devotees), and make me serve your devotees).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>thAL anRi<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 other than those divine feet (of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a>); covers the divine feet of other <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/azhwars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvArs<\/a> that are in this <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AzhvAr<\/a>\u2019s group, and all prapannas starting from <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/18\/senai-mudhaliar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">periya mudhaliyAr (sEnai mudhaliyAr<\/a>);<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>AdhariyA meyyan<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 He (<a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>) does not appreciate those who use other means, such a truth seeker; says only whatever he saw through the sAsthras about <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>, being such truthful; as his divine bed he has been seeing the nature, form, and wealth of <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/08\/17\/divya-dhampathi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAn<\/a>, and now as an incarnation, he has truthfully provided such details in his srI bhAshyam; so he is referring to him as \u2018meyyan\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>irAmAnusan<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/09\/06\/emperumanar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">emperumAnAr<\/a>\u2019s<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>charaNE gathi vERu enakkE \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>With the \u2018E\u2019 when referring to his divine feet, it talks about ananya gathithvam (no other destination).<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>enakkE \u2013 <\/em><\/strong>for adiyEn who would not do any other activities, and who is such an akinchan (a destitute), it is <em>only<\/em> dhEvarIr\u2019s (your) divine feet that are means and destiny. (so showing Akinchanyam and ananya gathithvam). It shall be said, \u201c<em>upAya upEya bhAvEna thathavatha: sarva dhEsikai: .. sUnishchithAngri padhmAya yathirAjAya mangaLam<\/em>\u201d (~It is the AchAryan who is the means and destiny ..)<\/p>\n<p><strong>From srI u.vE. thirumalai nallAn chakravarthy rAmakrishNa iyengAr\u2019s \u2018amudha virundhu\u2019:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>seyyum &#8211; (makes)<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2013\/01\/08\/thondaradippodi-azhwar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thoNdaradippodi AzhvAr<\/a> made two types of garlands &#8211; thiruththuzhAi garland, and thamizh garland. <a href=\"https:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/2012\/12\/16\/andal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ANdAL<\/a> too; but she gave flower garland that was made by <a href=\"http:\/\/ponnadi.blogspot.in\/2012\/10\/archavathara-anubhavam-periyazhwar.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">her father<\/a>;
