thirumangai AzhwAr meditated upon how thoNdaimAn chakravarthi acted favourably in thiruvattabuyagaram as in periya thirumozhi 2.8.10 “mannavan thoNdaiyar kOn vaNangum nILmudi mAlai<\/em>” (sarvESvaran who has tall crown was worshipped in thiruvattabuyagaram by thoNdaimAn chakravarthi). In that context, there was a king named “pallavan” who acted very favourably, and increased emperumAn’s divine ornaments to manifold [Why are those ornaments not seen now?] Subsequently, a chOLa king took all those ornaments and placed in his treasury. Now, this AzhwAr would consider anyone with even a little bit of inclination towards bhagavAn, to be his goal. Due to that, as all his aspects of such pallavan are dear to him, he is joyfully talking about them.<\/p>\n
