{"id":45398,"date":"2021-11-17T23:41:01","date_gmt":"2021-11-17T23:41:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/?p=45398"},"modified":"2021-11-17T23:41:01","modified_gmt":"2021-11-17T23:41:01","slug":"thirunedunthandakam-29","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2021\/11\/thirunedunthandakam-29\/","title":{"rendered":"thirunedunthANdakam &#8211; 29"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><small>SrI: SrImathE SatakOpAya nama: SrImathE rAmAnujAya nama: SrImath varavaramunayE nama:<\/small><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2017\/05\/thirunedunthandakam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Full Series<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2021\/11\/thirunedunthandakam-28\/\">&lt;&lt; previous pAsuram \u2013 28 \u2013 thennilangai araN sidhari<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">In the first ten pAsurams, <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">after <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">determining the true nature of the self, the true nature of the supreme, determining the benefit that is according to the nature of the self, determining the h<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">urdles<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"> to achieving those benefits, determining the means that helps removes h<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">urdl<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">es and enables achievement of benefit, making <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">thirumanthram <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">the subject of speech, which informs about these five aspects, <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">he <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">got clarity and spent his time accordingly. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">In the middle ten &#8211; Not stopping with thinking about it in his mind <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">as <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">for spending time, he fainted out of overwhelming love, and he nurtured the longing for seeing Him with his eyes, and fainted as he could not see Him in person as he expected, and as others talked about her being fainted like this, the mother saying <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">those <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">words about her daughter &#8211; this is how these pAsurams were set.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">In the third ten &#8211; Seeing her state, her friend wished to get her to <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">calm down<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">, and hence asked her about what had happened, and since this <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">wa<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">s about the story of what happened with Him, she sustained herself and talked to her friend about it; then as there were no questions or answers, her suffering due to separation reared its head; she got involved in sending messengers. Since He did not show up after that, anger due to love-quarrel reared its head. If this had extended <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">over time<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"> like it did for <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a>, then He might have come and showed Himself. Due to this AzhvAr\u2019s delicateness, anger left in the middle itself, and the state of desperation came back as before. Even in this state she <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">could<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"> sustain herself on<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">l<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">y if He came and showed Himself. Since that was not there, <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">parama-Bhakthi <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">that was born for <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a> in \u201cmuniyE nAnmuganE [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2020\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-10-10-muniye\/\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; 10.10<\/a>]\u201d, was born for <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a> <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">at this point; so<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"> expressing His <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">ananyagathithvam <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">(not having any other refuge than Him), and expressing <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">h<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">is having blemishes and so <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">having <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">no good deed in Him, in this pAsuram, AzhwAr wails, \u201cOh! You who are having love, are not showing up even in this stage!\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"zxx\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a> started by talking about emperumAn in supreme state in \u201cmuniyE nAnmuganE [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2020\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-10-10-1-muniye-nanmugane\/\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; 10.10.1<\/a>], and about emperumAn in avathAram (incarnation) state in \u201ckOla varAham onRAy [<a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2020\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-10-10-7-kola-malarp-pavaikku\/\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Him who is a leader<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>Ayar kulam magaLukku<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">for nappinnai pirAtti who incarnated as the best woman for the clan of cowherds,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>anRu<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">that is, rAvaNan to die,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kodum silai vAy<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Him who<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">in the grave bow<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>saram thurandhu<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">set the arrows and shot them<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kulam kaLaindhu venRAnai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">and destroyed the clan of asuras and won,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>thOLinAnai<\/strong> &#8211;<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> Him who is having shoulders<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kunRu eduththa<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">that lifted the gOvardhana mountain as an umbrella,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>nALum ninRAnai<\/strong> &#8211;<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> Him who is living forever<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>viri thirai neer viNNagaram maruvi<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">well set in thiruviNNagar that is full of water bodies having waves,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kidandha mAlai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Him who is in the dear one being in reclined position<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>thaN kudandhai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">in the cool place of thirukkudandhai,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>nediyAnai<\/strong> &#8211;<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> Him, the perumAL who is the most eminent that others,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>nAy adiyEn<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">I who am a lowly one like a dog,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>ninaindhittEn<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">thought about &#8211; Him.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a name=\"__DdeLink__711_2523558867\"><\/a><span lang=\"en-IN\">vyAkyAnam <\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><b>anRu<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"> etc.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><b> &#8211; <\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">He is talked about <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">as<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"> showing up for His l<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">ov<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">ers. First, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">AzhvAr<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"> divines about His helping nappinnaip pirAtti.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><b>anRu &#8211; <\/b><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">At that time also a danger happened like today. Considering the beauty of nappinnaip pirAtti, deciding that <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">her groom<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> should be the one who is having the ability to protect her, and hence it was established that winning the bulls as the condition for giving her daughter in marriage; so before krishNan came for that, the shivering of nappinnai is the shivering with the thought that she might become related to someone else.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>Ayar kula magaLukku<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">For nappinnai who was born in noble clan; thinking that it would not be possible to get nappinnai unless born in an equally noble clan, is the reason why krishNa had come and took birth as nandhagOpa<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">r<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">\u2019s son.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>araiyan thannai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Equivalent to destroying enemies and getting back a kingdom and ruling it, is His winning the bulls that were in His way to get nappinnai, and getting the delightful nappinnai. Like how He removed the hurdles and helped Her get Him, should He not remove the hurdles for me and come to me &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\">parakAla nAyaki<\/a> asks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en-IN\">alai kadal <\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>etc<\/strong>. <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">&#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">He is divining about the way perumAL helped SrIdhEvi and seethAp pirAttis. To get periya pirAtti He churned the ocean. To solve the loneliness of seethAp pirAtti, He bridged across the ocean. Giving nectar to dhEvas, giving their places back in rAmAvathAram are all side effects only. ALavandhAr knowing well this inner thought of emperumAn, had divined \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">yadharThamamBhoDhiramanThyabhanDhi<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> [<\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2017\/01\/sthothra-rathnam-37\/\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">sthOthra rathnam &#8211; 37<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">]\u201d (Only to get Her did emperumAn churn the ocean; only to get Her did He construct bridge across the ocean).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>ammAn thannai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">If You do not come here and show yourself to me who is longing for You, not only would You lose your name as a big lover of ones who love you, you would also lose the supremacy attributed to you for giving, as a side-effect, the nectar to and removing the poverty of dhEvas who became poor due to the curse of sage dhurvAsa and came to you asking for help, and giving back their places when brahmA et al lost their places of living due to rAvaNan &#8211; she says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kunRAdha vali<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">If it is just the strength of shoulders, then that could diminish over time; since this is strength based on boons for penances, it does not diminish over time <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">(the for rAkShasas).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en-IN\">arakkar kOnai mALa &#8211; <\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-IN\">For the death of rAvaNan the head of rAk<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">S<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">hasas whose living, using the boons they obtained, was troubling for others. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kodunjilaivAych charam thurandhu<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Shooting arrows from His SrI-S<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">A<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">rngam bow such that the enemies lose upon just seeing it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kodunjilai<\/strong> &#8211;<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> using the arrows from bow that is having greatness as said in \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">dheeptha pAvaka sankASai: <\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">[SrI rAmAyaNam &#8211; yudhDha KANdam &#8211; 16-23]<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">\u201d <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">(bows are like burning fire), and \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">svarga mArga praBhAvanam <\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">[SrI rAmAyaNam &#8211; kishkindhA KANdam &#8211; 17-8]\u201d (bow that would send one to paramapadham). <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kulam kaLaindhu<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Making the clan of rAkshasas to be destroyed. What about viBheeshaNAzhvAn? <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Is he not a rAkShasa?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\">Based on viBheeshaNa\u2019s own thoughts, and based on rAvaNan calling him as a destroyer of own family (and so does not belong), and based on the thoughts of SrI rAma, SrI viBheeshaNAzhvAn belongs to the clan of IkShvAhu, that is SrI rAma\u2019s clan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\">That is, since <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">rAvaNan<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> did not listen to his good words, <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">viBheeshaNa<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> said \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">niSAchara<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">! [SrI rAmAyaNama &#8211; yudhDha KANdam &#8211; 6-26]\u201d (Oh, rAkshasa! <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">(thus separating himself from that clan)<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">). rAvaNan said \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">thvAm thu dhik kulapAmsanam <\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">[SrI rAmAyaNam &#8211; yudhDha KANdam &#8211; 16-16]\u201d (You who has come to destroy the clan of rAkshasas is to be hated). perumAL asked SrI viBheeshaNAzhvAn, \u201c<em>rAkShasAnAm balAbalam<\/em> [SrI rAmAyaNAm &#8211; yudhDha KANdam &#8211; 19-7]\u201d (tell me the strength and weakness of rAkShasas); vibheeshaNAzhvAn said that he would help in destroying the rAkShasas &#8211; \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">rAkShasAnAm vaDhEsAhyam <\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">[SrI rAmAyaNam &#8211; yudhDha KANdam &#8211; 19-23]\u201d (I will help destroy the rAkShasa army of rAvaNan); so <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">h<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">e does not belong to the clan of rAkShasas. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\">While only rAvaNan did the mistake, it was such a heavy one that his whole clan got destroyed. Like how if one <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">is loving towards emperumAn<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">, then its benefit reaches all series of people in his chain of relationship, if one performs bad deeds <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">towards Him<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">, then that also would affect all the people in the line of relationship with such person. Anger towards rAvaNan ended up in destruction of his clan of rAkShasas. Due to the friendship towards mahArAjar (sugreevan), the clan of monkeys flourished.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>venRAnai<\/strong> &#8211;<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> Like how He destroyed the clan of rAkShas<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">a<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">s without missing anyone, He won the war while making sure not even one from the clan of divine monkeys had any trouble.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>kunReduththa thOLinAnai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Making the girls of five lakhs families get the experience by creating desperation in them that they cannot survive without seeing krishNan, by holding the gOvardhana mountain as umbrella using the strength of His arm. By this, she asks &#8211; Should You who created the longing that does not look for anything other than You, not make me enjoy You? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>viri thirai neer viNNagaram maruvi<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> For helping &#8211; those who are living after that incarnation, <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">those <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">who send messengers, <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">and those <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">who get involved in quarrel out of love, is why He lives in thiruviNNagar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>viri thirai neer viNNagaram<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">place that is suitably cool having plenty of water to match the delicateness of ermperumAn. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en-IN\">maruvi<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en-IN\"> &#8211; Leaving paramapadham and living in archA (statue) form in this material world that causes sorrows, is due to excessive love towards His devotees. For a farmer, it would be <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">apt<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> for him to sleep in the <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">place<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> where water flows to the fields, instead of sleeping inside his house. emperumAn is \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">paththi uzhavan <\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">[<\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2018\/07\/nanmugan-thiruvandhadhi-23\/\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">nAnmukan thiruvanthAdhi &#8211; 23<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">]\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>nALum ninRAnai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Him who is standing till the end of period of <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">kalpa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>thaN kudandhaik kidandha mAlai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">If He is in standing position, one might think that there is some place else He might be going to. Preventing that <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">thought<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">, Him who is lying down in a resting position in thirukkudandhai that removes difficulties, like saying that He would not leave until all the people of the material world is fully taken with Him to paramapadham. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\">What is the reason for His being in this world in the positions of standing, sitting, and lying down? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>mAlai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">It is because He is having excessive love towards His devotees.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>nediyAnai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Him who is long; Is it possible for me to talk fully about how much He gives Himself to His devotees? I can only say that He is limitless. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\">Or,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>nediyAnai<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Him who is easily attainable for others, is being a hard-to-reach-flower for me, she says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>adi nAyEn ninaindhittEnE<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Like how there is no limit to His greatness, there is no limit to my lowliness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>nAyEn<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Born in this birth (like a dog) which roams into any house <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">having doors open<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">, and being hit and thrown away from each such house entered, <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">owner<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> having to take bath <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">even if <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">he<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> touches <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">out of happy <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">friendliness<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>adinAyEn<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Me not having any other place to go than You, such that <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">it is <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">only You <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">who would<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> see me or <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">go away<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> from me, based on your considering <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">of <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">our relationship. <\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">W<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">hether it is the time of <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">surrendering or <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">of <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">union<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">, <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">f<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">or this AzhvAr there is only <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Akinchanyam <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">(not having any other source of strength), and <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">sva-dhOsha-kyApanam<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> (presenting own mistakes). That is his greatness. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\">At the time of surrendering to Him he said, \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">nAyEn vandhadaindhEn<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\"> [<\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2021\/06\/periya-thirumozhi-1-9-1\/\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">periya thirumozhi &#8211; 1.9.1<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">]. Here when enjoying\/experiencing Him, he is saying, \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">adi-nAyEn\u201d.<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">When<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> this AzhvAr is at the stage of<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">getting his blemishes removed and is going to reach <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">H<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">im, why say like this about himself? It is because this AzhvAr i<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">s<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> such, that he thinks that all the good that<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">happened<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">to<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">him<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">are<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">done<\/span> <span lang=\"en-IN\">by emperumAn as instruments for enjoyi<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">n<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">g emperumAn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en-IN\"><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a> <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">finished <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">his dhivyaprabandham<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> by saying<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">, \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">adhanil periya en avA <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">[<\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2020\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-10-10-11-avavarachchuzh-ariyai\/\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; 10.10.11<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">]\u201d , thus saying that his devotion is bigger that the <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">thathvams<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> of <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">chit<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">h<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">, achit<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">h<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">, and eeSvaran. <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">This AzhvAr is finishing his last dhivya prabandham saying \u201c<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"><em>adi nAyEn<\/em>\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\">What is the reason? &#8211; <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">nammAzhvAr<\/a> was free from worldly attachment from the time <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">of <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">birth itself, so getting him to gain more and more devotion towards H<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">i<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">m is what emperumAn had to do for that AzhvAr. So He made that AzhvAr to be able to say \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">adhanil periya en avA <\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\">[<\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2020\/03\/thiruvaimozhi-10-10-11-avavarachchuzh-ariyai\/\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">thiruvAimozhi &#8211; 10.10.11<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">]\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/thirumangai-azhwar\/\">thirumangai AzhvAr<\/a> was in the state as he himself said in \u201c<\/span><em><span lang=\"en-IN\">venRiyE vENdi veezh porutkirangi vERkaNAr kalaviyE karudhi, ninRavA nillA nenjinai udaiyEn<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en-IN\"> [<\/span><span lang=\"zxx\"><a href=\"https:\/\/divyaprabandham.koyil.org\/index.php\/2020\/11\/periya-thirumozhi-1-1-4\/\"><span lang=\"en-IN\">periya thirumozhi &#8211; 1.1.4<\/span><\/a><\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">], that is, having many blemishes in earlier state. So emperumAn grew <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">naichyAnusandhAnam<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\"> in this AzhvAr (thinking about own blemishes and considering self as lowly), and in the end of made him say \u201cadi<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">&#8211;<\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">nAyEn ninaindhittEn\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en-IN\"><strong>ninaindhittEnE<\/strong> &#8211; <\/span><span lang=\"en-IN\">Earlier in thirumaNangollai, there is one acceptance He did as He accepted without expecting any qualification from AzhvAr. I thought that that grace should be there till the time AthmA lived.
