Alternatively – since kUzhai is a term which indicates a woman’s hair, this could be explaining pUthanA’s hair which is small and cannot be gathered and placed in a knot. [A question arises] Since she is in the beautiful disguise of mother yaSOdhA, would she not have dressed up like her?
