But association with me who doesn&#8217;t have such attachment is poisonous for you&#8221;. <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> says &#8220;Oh! is it poison? Nothing wrong even if it is poison&#8221;. AzhwAr too says &#8220;Yes &#8211; it is poison and nothing less than poison&#8221;. <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> then says &#8220;In that case, I accepted pUthanA&#8217;s poison &#8211; so there is nothing that will be rejected by me&#8221;. Hearing this <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/nammazhwar\/\">AzhwAr<\/a> becomes satisfied. It can also refer to AzhwAr and <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> both of whom cannot bear the separation.<\/li>\n<li><em>thIya alavalaip perumA vanjap pEy vIya<\/em> &#8211; As explained in hari vamsam 53 &#8220;<em>sthanyam thadhvishasammisram rasyamAsIjjagadhgurO:<\/em>&#8221; (For the one who killed pUthanA to save the universe and thus was called universal preceptor (krishNa), the poisonous breast milk became nectar) &#8211; pUthanA who came to kill krishNa, the root cause of everything (if krishNa is killed the whole universe will cease to exist), who was saying sweet words like yasOdhA &#8211; she disguised as yasOdhA with ill-intentions and even made <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">bhagavAn<\/a> who is svathassarvagya (naturally fully knowledegable) himself wonder if she was yasOdhA herself.<\/li>\n<li><em>thUya kuzhaviyAy<\/em> &#8211; Even though he has all the wealth and opulence, <a href=\"http:\/\/acharyas.koyil.org\/index.php\/sriman-narayanan\/\">emperumAn<\/a> behaved like an innocent child.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But if he is an innocent child, why was not he killed by the poison?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>vidappAlamudhA<\/em> &#8211; The poison became nectarean to him &#8211; but his birth itself causes destruction to the asuras.<\/li>\n<li><em>mAyan<\/em> &#8211; He is so amazing that he converts poison to nectar, protects himself, thus protecting all of us (if he died, we also would have died). Since pUthaNa was offering the poisonous milk purely for krishNa (not for herself and not for others), it became nectar &#8211; since anything that was offered exclusively to <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">bhagavAn<\/a>, he will accept that happily.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Who was the one who changed pUthanA&#8217;s poison to nectar?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>vAnOr thanith thalaivan<\/em> &#8211; The exclusive leader of ayarvaRum amarargaL (nithyasUris)<\/li>\n<li><em>malarAL maindhan<\/em> &#8211; the divine couple who is served by nithyasUris as explained in thiruvAimozhi 8.1.4 &#8220;d<em>hEvimArAvAr thirumagaL bhUmi Eva maRRamarar AtcheyvAr<\/em>&#8221; (nithyasUris serve <a href=\"https:\/\/granthams.koyil.org\/2013\/03\/12\/thathva-thrayam-iswara-who-is-god\/\">bhagavAn<\/a> with his divine consorts as ordered by them). maindhan indicates one who is suitable for SrI mahAlakshmi.
